I got this release.. bought it back in 1996 in a recordstore in Barcelona. The guy behind the counter liked my selection so much (I think I also bought Anthony Rother’s first release ‘Sex with the machines’ and some other memorable ep’s) that he asked me for a demo. We were all walking around with demo’s on tape back than so .. I had one. Then I was invited to come the Moog club that night and ..when I came I was asked to come play a two hour dj set the next day!? With about 12 ep’s I bought in 2 days and some records I BORROWED from the other dj (Stefan Brugesch aka Steve Bug !!) - i had a blast. Underprepared but in a great vibe it was one of my best gigs ever.. and it included this track. Thanks for posting.
Thinking about it, it wasn't Rother's debut album but the first time I saw Rother's name on an EP. It was a test pressing on Kanzleramt by Sodiac (Heiko Laux and Anthony Rother) with a bunch of untitled tracks - it was later released again with the name "rings". I just listened to it and well.. it obviously fits this Alkahest EP just perfectly. Too bad I sold this one on Ebay about 12 years ago, it would do nicely on the right party > th-cam.com/video/djRIkr2np2g/w-d-xo.html

Legion of Green Men. Have you heard of them? That is who this group became. They are ambient. Really cool music.
