Really the game was lost in the first 15-20 minutes of game time. We absolutely looked like a team that had no plan or the wrong plan coming into the game. The second quarter was bad but it was really that first quarter that made this game a horrible uphill battle. In the second we started to wake-up to their corner attack but at that point we were down by 28. The second half we won, but not enough to win the game. We stopped their effort to exploit our corners, and we started to deliver offensively. You have to start playing to win in the first quarter, and you can't let off the gas until the end of the game. You also can't turnover the ball 4 times. We dug ourselves a deep hole, and fought our way out of it. But not enough to win. And in the end a win is a win, and loss is a loss, and losing sucks.
The defensive staff really fumbled the bye week prep by psyching out our players by drumming into them that Milroe was all but "indefensible". The defense was walking on eggshells...overthinking and being caught flat footed much of the time. The staff made a big mistake in overhyping Milroe's play making ability. They also made some serious strategic mistakes in leaving the edges of our defense vulnerable. Maybe that was the player thinking and reacting rather than just playing ball. No way did the Dawgs make that drastic a chage Offensively... it was EXECUTION. AS11 catches that ball on the first series and the game is much different. The Delp had a bad game. There were just intolerable drops all throughout the first half debacle. It was NOT play calling. The offense in trying to get off to a fast start for some reason nutted up. It's odd in the light of the enormous pressure that they were under in the 2nd half. Beck was tight and everyone followed suit. He gets big props for saying F- it and letting it rip in the 2nd half. BTW the final INT was a great play by the DB. Pass should have fallen incomplete. It wasn't a bad pass but it was good either. Young was not in position to make a play on the ball and the DB snagged it with a nice display of body control. Now lets see if that makes this team better in the long run.
If Kirby knows what kinda offense gives him fits then maybe we should duplicate that. Mac Jones may be the last pocket passer to win and even he can take off
As a Georgia fan - I was hit by the storm so I had no power - kind of glad I missed it. Georgia used to always lose to Tennessee and Florida - Kirby fixed that. Hopefully, he'll fix the curse with Alabama. Also, the storm gives perspective..
Bama fans are worse. Had they lost to us dawgs they would have turned there back on the team. No other game matters to them because they expect to beat the other teams. Everyone can say what they want to say. We didn’t play bad. We have just not been able to execute on our big plays which yes it matters but at the end of the day another team that can go all 4/4 with us because Bama couldn’t do it they was just able to hang on
With 2nd half Beck UGA wins the NC this year. He was threading balls into very tight windows and making good decisions. The last pass was not smart though. He had been killing Bama with 10-15 yard throws and had time for another 5 plays at least, instead of forcing the ball into Young. Even if the Dawgs had scored right then, Bama had enough time to get within FG range. I'll admit it, I just about gave up on the Dawgs Saturday when it got to 28-0. Then they marched right down the field and scored, then held Bama and go the ball back. Then a really stupid play call was the long developing pass play where Beck got the safety. Bobo should have gotten a couple of first downs and ate up clock, and maybe got 3 or 7 points then the Dawgs get the ball to start the 3rd quarter, only down 3 scores.
You saw a different game then I saw, there were no “tight window” throws, Beck and bobo figured out if he throws short and have the receivers come back to the ball the young DBs for Alabama wouldn’t adjust, and it worked until the last play

Beck made multiple throws where a Bama DB was draped over the back of Dawg receivers and he put where only his receiver could get it., especially on 4th down. Beck stunk it up in the 1st half, but he made up for it in the 2nd half, until that last throw he forced.

Beck has regressed not improved. GA has only played about 4 solid quarters this whole season. Saturdays game was a typical Kirby Smart start. Before the Bulldogs could finish wackin off, Milroe was running and throwing touchdowns. By the time we got over our refractory period and smoking a cigarette it was 28 - 0 with turnovers. Milroe had his priorities in order, he took care of business before he took care of business. He waited until after the game.
Where have I heard that before? Beck's fine, we need some receivers. We need playmakers that catch the ball, even when it's threading the needle. Beck can run the ball, but we've got to have some playmakers on the receiving end. Lad was a brilliant wide receiver, but he was lightening in a bottle. A three star wide receiver who was too small that nobody wanted, and we were LUCKY enough to get. Because now he's starting in the NFL. He was a dude that punched way above his weight. But you can't make it your business model to half ass recruit people hoping they are diamonds in the rough. The defense sucks badly this year for Kirby standards. Carson Beck is not even close to elite. We have a makeshift WR room. Etienne has been good but not good enough. Georgia played like the were already beat and had nothing to lose, so they played 4 downs to get a first down the whole game. Really, and Ga. Normally makes 40% of going for it on 4th. And they made 5 of 5, not including 2 penalties on 4 th down. So that’s 7 more extra series that Bama had to stay on the field. And you wonder why their tongues were hanging out. I have some friendly advice for you. If you are using a blue yeti microphone, your set up is totally wrong. The condenser isn't the top of the mic (As you have it positioned) it's on its sides. If you want better premium audio quality, the mic is supposed to be in an upright position where the blue yeti logo is facing you. That's where you're supposed to be speaking directly into and the mic will enhance your sound quality much better. Lots of people make this very common mistake. The stand the mic originally came with is perfect. Just slightly tilt it in the opposite direction with the logo facing you. Adjust the volume and the gain and you're good

With 2nd half Beck UGA wins the NC this year. He was threading balls into very tight windows and making good decisions. The last pass was not smart though. He had been killing Bama with 10-15 yard throws and had time for another 5 plays at least, instead of forcing the ball into Young. Even if the Dawgs had scored right then, Bama had enough time to get within FG range. I'll admit it, I just about gave up on the Dawgs Saturday when it got to 28-0. Then they marched right down the field and scored, then held Bama and go the ball back. Then a really stupid play call was the long developing pass play where Beck got the safety. Bobo should have gotten a couple of first downs and ate up clock, and maybe got 3 or 7 points then the Dawgs get the ball to start the 3rd quarter, only down 3 scores.
You saw a different game then I saw, there were no “tight window” throws, Beck and bobo figured out if he throws short and have the receivers come back to the ball the young DBs for Alabama wouldn’t adjust, and it worked until the last play

Beck made multiple throws where a Bama DB was draped over the back of Dawg receivers and he put where only his receiver could get it., especially on 4th down. Beck stunk it up in the 1st half, but he made up for it in the 2nd half, until that last throw he forced.

GA has only played about 4 solid quarters this whole season. Saturdays game was a typical Kirby Smart start. Before the Bulldogs could finish wackin off, Milroe was running and throwing touchdowns. By the time we got over our refractory period and smoking a cigarette it was 28 - 0 with turnovers.
Milroe had his priorities in order, he took care of business before he took care of business. He waited until after the game.

Where have I heard that before? Beck's fine, we need some receivers. We need playmakers that catch the ball, even when it's threading the needle. Beck can run the ball, but we've got to have some playmakers on the receiving end. Lad was a brilliant wide receiver, but he was lightening in a bottle. A three star wide receiver who was too small that nobody wanted, and we were LUCKY enough to get. Because now he's starting in the NFL. He was a dude that punched way above his weight. But you can't make it your business model to half ass recruit people hoping they are diamonds in the rough. We need some wide receivers, and we absolutely need to be Tight-End U, while being attractive to running backs as well.

The defense sucks badly this year for Kirby standards. Carson Beck is not even close to elite. We have a makeshift WR room. Etienne has been good but not good enough. The o-line is inconsistent, you can forget about it this year, my friend! Not one feared player on offense and I don't see how that magically changes this year. Worst of all, save Tennessee Tech which doesn't count, Georgia has yet to put a full game together. Flat in the first half of Clemson, almost lose to Kentucky in a ugly game, and we looked like TCU in the national title game against Alabama in the 1st half. Pathetic by both players and coaches.

Pure balderdash….what did Ga do in the second half?.. The game changed entirely. Bama was trying to run out the clock and not make mistakes. Georgia played like the were already beat and had nothing to lose, so they played 4 downs to get a first down the whole game. Really, and Ga. Normally makes 40% of going for it on 4th. And they made 5 of 5, not including 2 penalties on 4 th down. So that’s 7 more extra series that Bama had to stay on the field. And you wonder why their tongues were hanging out. So, yes the first half was a normal game, and the second half was nothing-to-lose, no holds barred, let it all hang out CIRCUS.

I have some friendly advice for you. If you are using a blue yeti microphone, your set up is totally wrong. The condenser isn't the top of the mic (As you have it positioned) it's on its sides. If you want better premium audio quality, the mic is supposed to be in an upright position where the blue yeti logo is facing you. That's where you're supposed to be speaking directly into and the mic will enhance your sound quality much better. Lots of people make this very common mistake. The stand the mic originally came with is perfect. Just slightly tilt it in the opposite direction with the logo facing you. Adjust the volume and the gain and you're good
