Once I played a game, where for an unknown reason pahn was doing almost no damage but taking in huge ones. And he died. His level wasn't good enough. Next game I made sure to train him, he was a monster.
Am I the only one who think Pahn's costume (In official illustration) remind me of Pegasus Seiya's first costume (Especially chest armor on the right side) He also look like Arc (From Arc The Lad) and Ryu (Street Fighter)
It's great how Teo keeps on getting punched in the groin in this video. I remember this being a difficult fight if you didn't know what the lines meant.
I remember my first playthrough, Pahn died. I was super pissed too cause he was one of my favorite characters. This is definitely one of the best climaxes in the game.
Pahn died in my first playthrough, which was just a few months ago. I'm loving the hell out of this franchise so far, since I'm onto Suikoden II now as I hear it's the best one. I already can tell it's much better than the first and I did love it too~
Suikoden 5 is probably my second favorite of the series then one after, dont forget too that the creator and most of the developers are making eiyuden chronicles hundred heros it's a spiritual successor so you got plenty left to enjoy

Nice now I know to beef up pahn I'm doing my first suikoden play through now so looking forward to my first military battle any advice on how to come out on top

Ive never used this so im just guessing how everything works,"two attacks always connect,defend counters desperation attack and reduces normal attack" so the fact that not even a scratch was obtained is impressive :) if these fights are luck based on choice.
Teo kills my Pahn with just 1 hit! And my Pahn does no damage to him, WTF?! Does that mean that I'll have to star the game from the beginning if I want to recruit the 108 people?
It’s a beginner’s trap. You want to play with all the characters, but little do you know, you really need Pahn in your party at all times to level him, and even then, he may still lose. I don’t usually save scum my first play-through, but the game cheated me by putting Pahn in an unwinnable duel. I found lv 35 was sufficient to win this duel consistently; that and sharpening his weapon/equipping him with the best armor.

Did you named him Mustafa to avoid glitch in Suikoden 2?

@wishingW3L You have to level up Pahn for him to survive Teo's attacks (level 25-30 will do)

+Lexyvil Truly is one of the best RPGs! PS1 had so many great RPGs. S1 and S2 are amazing! Make sure to try and find all 108 characters in S1 ... :)
I prefer the first one. The second has more development in terms of runes and games and castle change, but the whole war battle system is hideous

Suikoden III's main hero is Thomas the leader of the 108 Stars but you could also play as three other characters.
you can tell what move He's about to do by what he says beforehand....makes the duels a hellavu lot easier.

These Calvary battle for a 1st time is unwinnable until the Allied forces will use Fire Spears to take them down

Kamille no, ypu have to lvl up Pahn before you have the duel
Kamille Pahn needed to be beefed up with the best possible armor and level in experience in order to stand a chance.
