Honestly Daniel, your tutorials are the best on this side of TH-cam. Everything you say has value, & it a presented in such a way that the complex is simply explained
L2 is dope!!....and my favorite limiter again...thanks. I've been a sub for many years now and can't believe you guys haven't blown up....it'll happen and I hope it transfers to increased success for the school.
This is such a great channel, thank you for the video! A great example of well executed clipping is on the drums of Perfect by Logic. They're crunched perfectly imo
Thanks so much for this video. Would you recommend doing this on every channel in mixing or can it also be done in the mastering stage? What would you recommend?
Question: would you clip all the individual important elements + the master to achieve better loudness / fullness of a mix? I mean can you clip individuals plus the master output or would that be overkill?
Hi sir, I analyzed every track that I downloaded from TH-cam and all track have chopped of high frequencies. I try to clipp hard and limiting it hard, but when I analyzed my master track there is no chopped high end. How do the professionals do that, maybe with pultec or somehow else?
like mp3s... the high end is chopped off at around 16hz. if thats what you want then cut off or lower above 16hz with a shelf. it is true that cutting off high end can save space in your mix like removing excesive low end from tracks

yeah that's not on purpose pretty sure that's compression, you shouldn't be adding that into your track though haha
