What coins do you buy? I have around 2,000 coins mostly late 1960s and 1970s US. What about a 1901 gold coin graded MS67? I'll have to check it for more details, I plan to send it to Heritage Auctions. But I do have a lot of error pennies and quarters I need to sell some of them to get the money to have some others graded

That 68rd has a gouge on the c in cent. I’ve found the grades you get fromPCGS and NGC are based on who you are. The big dealers get better grades than the average collectors.
That is because the big dealers are their bread and butter. They send the coins in to be graded and expect them to fetch a certain grade. if one doesn't deliver that, both TPG's know that they will lose business to the other. PCGS is especially notorious for over grading coins sent in by the big guys.
Yesterday, I found a 2009-P Birthplace cent which is in exceptional condition. I’m seriously considering getting it graded. I also have found maybe a dozen of the Formative Years with 3 or 4 in good condition. One of those may be MS.
If your lucky, almost all coins graded sell for what it costs to have them graded plus seller & shipping fees or even less. It's a racket except for the very few. Thousands of Billions or Trillions of coins out there and growing yearly. The whole coin market is an Industry that supports jobs and businesses and those ppl want to make money off your coin to support themselves.

These are all highly graded by NGC or PCGS, not your pocket change like all these people claiming to have many in their pocket or rolls. Unless yours are slabbed and graded, you do not have these.
Being offered is a huge lot of 2017 pennies-75 in total. None are from a bank. All found in pocket change. Ungraded but I would grade them from AU 57 to mint 67 RED. Some might be even higher. Most are mint 65. Photos upon request. $35,000 OBO

I've seen a '2009-United States Mint - Lincoln Coin and Chronicles Set'. It included all four pennies minted in San Francisco along with the 'Abraham Lincoln Commemorative Proof Silver Dollar'. All coins have sealed ( never opened). There is a tin-type of the President and a copy of his hand written Gettysburg Address. There is also a Certificate of Authenticity. It is in a nice library boxed sleeve... What would that be worth?
😁👍🏻You are absolutely 100% correct sir, supply, demand and importantly, the CONDITION of the coin matters. Your coin must have at least, a 66 grade look. Don't submit your coin unless in mint condion, and there's a demand for the errors or anomaly.
I found a "formative years" Denver mint penny today in my change. I've never seen anyone of these before and was pretty taken back. It's in really good shape but is it worth grading?

IMO.... Another reason that your final coin, the 2009-D Presidency Lincoln MS68RD had a high sell price is that they cannot be found in US Mint sets. 2009 mint sets were all SP. Satin. This non-satin business was acquired through change or fresh bank rolls. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Nice catch, I believe you're correct with this information. The fact something like this was able to grade at such a high level was likely what allowed it to fetch such a premium in the market.

Great video, the last I counted, I do belive I have close to 7 of the 4 coins showed and I know 8 of the other, look so good, and I made sure I put them up because I knew one day they would be worth something. Now just need to join one of the 3rd party graders.

Very true. Common people get lousy grade from PCGS & NGC alike. Send thousands in and BOOM ALL WILL BE 69 OR 70 EVEN WITH GROSS & OBVIOUS DAMAGES
