My favorite part of this vid was on the finale when Mooney said "That guys not wearing a hat" and eliminated him as a suspect, but then the guy turned and you could clearly see he had a hat on. Love the vids, this one's a banger
Mooney picking out the right target immediately, only to confuse her with another woman, mark her as wrong, and spend half the level with her knocked out in the bathroom because he forgot to use the rare melee was pure cinema.
"This guy is not wearing a hat, so..." **klick** Guy immediately after being designated as "not a target" turns to the side revealing that he has, indeed, have a basecap on. Peak BigMooney content!
23:21 Lol how can you tell a real Hitman player? Carrying a propane flask or fire extinguisher most of the mission and inconveniencing yourself for the chance of needing it later.
You can also use the chloroform for the rare melee item objective. I also used to utilize the baton myself, till I discovered you can use the chloroform and it only uses 1 slot. You can't throw it though.
@@nathanharrison2 He meant you can't get the "rare melee takedown" objective if you throw it. You have to smack a guard in the head with it still in your hand.
@@osmium6832 Exactly, and not to mention it'll break after throwing it, which doesn't occur with a silent takedown from behind. Thanks for pointing it out.
In Haven Island, if you break open the door at the side of the villa by the shore and then throw an item against the wall, a guard will come outside. I don't know if this works if the door is still locked. Luckily, you should have a rusty nail spawn in regularly at the Hitmansion outside near the helicopter or by the shed. Sometimes it doesn't spawn though, or maybe it's in a spot that I can't find it. It's the easiest guard disguise for the map.
Yeah, I find that easier than the front gate guards. Although it's also possible to just throw the hammer to attract one of the two guards from the front gate; and you can pick up the hammer from the scaffold nearby.
To your "sometimes it doesn't spawn though": while I haven't figured out the exact mechanics on when stuff you can pick up around the hitmansion respawns, I can tell you for sure that if you take one of the things not off your wall into a mission, they won't be there the next time you're home. The nail works the same as the poisonous mushrooms or the coin near the helipad there
Hey Mooney. A bit late to drop this tip for you, but I saw it come up in this video. There's a way to bring a briefcase into a mission for free if you want one, though its a bit unorthodox. If you go fishing, there's a chance you can fish up a piece of driftwood. Driftwood costs ZERO gear slots, and since it's a large melee weapon, it will automatically be put into a briefcase if you bring it with you on a mission. It is kinda silly that you can't just grab a suitcase from 47's extensive collection of the things. But here is a way to bring one if you want one, like what came up in this video, and at no cost to gear capacity.
Man, I love your Hitman content. Just watched your SA/SO Bangkok video again and laughed my a*s off xD so I would love to see the SA/SO runs return. ANd don't forget to do Hardcore Freelancer at some point ^^
Hey BigMooney, couple of helpful tips for Freelancer Mode! You can throw chloroform at people’s feet to sedate them and it will count towards any standard poison objective or non-syringe/non-dart sedative poison objective. Make sure you don’t lock onto your target when throwing it; you need the bottle to shatter, which releases sedative gas that knocks your target out. Make sure you stay out of range of the gas because it does hurt 47 and will prevent you from doing the “Do Not Take Damage” objective. Additionally, the durian on Ambrose Island functions the same way. If you find yourself in a situation like you did in the Dubai penthouse, it’s safer to kill a non-target suspect that witnesses you committing a crime so long as an assassin or lookout does not find them. If regular NPCs are alerted but syndicate NPCs are not, you will still be able to prevent the syndicate from escaping. Lookouts are NOT assassins and assassins are NOT lookouts. I’m not sure if you’ve already figured this out after some of your previous videos where you had the “Neutralize a Lookout” objective, but those are two unique NPCs. Assassins are easier to identify as they always follow their assigned suspect and tend to dress very differently than other standard NPCs on the map. Additionally, if you separate a suspect from their assassin (like you did with two emetic poison shots), the assassin will eventually make his way to his assigned suspect unless you’ve hidden/dumped the suspect’s body or you pacify/eliminate the assassin. Lookouts can be a little harder since their attire blends in with the rest of the map. But they are always enforcers no matter what disguise you wear and follow a set route that doesn’t align with what NPCs around them typically do. It can be confusing for some since, depending on the map, lookouts can actually blend in well with other standard enforcers. Lookouts also have guard dialogue if you distract them. (Also, I’m not entirely sure about this one as I have not tested it but, assassins can supposedly kill you with one shot.) If your HUD says “CRIME NOTICED”, that does NOT immediately mean someone witnessed 47 committing a crime. It only means someone saw the result of 47’s actions (for example, a NPC getting knocked out or killed by a thrown object while 47 is hidden from sight). Setting off fire extinguishers counts as concussive explosives. If you have a concussive explosive objective and know where to find a fire extinguisher, you won’t need to bring concussive explosives. Killing guards on any map does NOT deduct merces. This can be extremely helpful when you don’t have an objective that requires you to kill targets only, ensure no bodies are found, don’t get into combat, or any others that would typically be ruined by shooting a guard in plain view. Be careful with Syndicate Showdown missions since you want avoid alerting suspects, assassins, and lookouts whether they themselves find a body or another NPC in alert mode ends up alerting them. Cheers and thanks for all of the good times and laughs!
Great vid Mooney! Easiest way for me to get the Yakuza disguise in Hokkaido is the two guys outside at the cable car. Always my first stop. RIP Jason Portman lol.
I think ioi should add a coco pops gun which Is silenced and kills anybody in one shot. This should be unlocked from doing bigmooney's escalation silent assassin

You can take advantage of that knowledge by planting a bomb on Sierra Knox's car instead (during pit stop) and then hand the detonator to Robert Knox when disguised as a Kowoon mechanic, which will have him kill his own daughter by using the detonator (thinking it will kill Moses Lee). Super elaborate, but rewarding method of assasination that one :D (Especially because it's not a mission story, so I ahd to figure it out myself from map clues like in the old days...)
Yeah Dubai was messed up. Confusion with the woman with the tattoo at the start not being the woman he later electrocuted, ruling out a baseball cap guy because it looked like he had no cap on for a few frames...but we have all done this sort of thing on showdowns.

He is actually the "key" to learn that Robert Knox planned to kill Moses Lee (a competitor driver to his daughter) by havinh a Kowoon mechanic plant a bomb.

You should make the whole New York song. :D
