Paper Cutter Choke Defense with Armlock

The side body choke (paper cutter) is a very effective and simple choke. If you understnad the mechanism you can defend it simply by bridging and putting a brace under the arm pit of the choking arm and eventually bring the legs in. If you play your cards right you can catch the armlock in the process.

I have tried this a few times. I have never hit the armbar cause most guys just let go....which is fine because I am no longer in danger of being choked I guess.
