Thank you so much for the detailed explanation! My concern is, how to define the optimum threshold value at each assigned feature, especially in the large area (10km x 10km), because if we only focus on one or two image object to define the threshold, it would be bias. Thank you and looking forward to hear from you!
First of all, Thank you very much for a quick comprehensive tutorial. My question is that for my eCognition version 9.0.1, when I tried to assign a class, instead of setting a "condition", I have "threshold" instead. Now, your example, you are able to set multiple conditions and use logical operator such as AND OR. But in my version, the "threshold" does not have logical operators and I can only set 2 threshold (first and second). Is there a work around so that I can use more than 2 conditions to assign a class in eCognition 9.0.1 ? Thank you very much
Thankyou very much for this easy to comprehend tutorial. As I beginner I want to ask how to edit or remove step in the process tree. I mean if i make a water class and it also covers some non-water areas and I want to edit my threshold levels than how can I edit without having to delete the entire image object level?
Fabolous simply enter the next rule. I recommend splitting it into separate Assign Class algorithms so that you can observe he results. Use temp classes if necessary
How do I create a hierarchy of classes? For instance, I segmented my image at different levels and did a classification at one of the levels. What if I want that class to be inherited at another level? How do I do this?
very enough and interesting video and wide explanation, it will be great full if share more videos about ecognition
First of all, Thank you very much for a quick comprehensive tutorial. My question is that how i can do accuracy assessement after performing obia

Jarlath, thank you very much for the tutorial.
That was a great video - Thanks!
hello :) thank you for this video. which satellite imagery that you used? I tried landsat but resolution so bad.

Hello Sarun, I am having the same problem and I was wondering if you have found the solution for this issue? Thanks in advance.
I have to use rule set in the classification tree instead. You can have multiple nested logics there.
What?
Have a nice Day Sir,
Have you ever process the image data Mangrove using the ecognition?
Thankyou very much for this easy to comprehend tutorial.

Very interesting your video and very simple too .. tks
Hello! as atmospherically corrected image is segmented? it's posible?
Hey i have a question. At 6:53 of video how to do more rules in one table with AND? Thanks

Thanks so much!
I found that your version is older than mine. For my exercise i did more step with algorithms Assign Class
What if using single band (RGB) in the classification of mangrove species? Because I use drones in my thesis?
Please help🙏
Dear Anom; Have you got a solution for your question? If you got, please share me.

Trecia Williams why do you want multiple image object levels? Why not classify everything on a single level.
Jarlath O'Neil-Dunne i am doing my thesis. i am trying to classify informal settlements using a hierarchical classification.
hi sir, why is in my ecognition app I can only add 2 threshold conditions?
and the display is unlike yours
