The all eyes on me album says it all. Even though pac involved snoop snake dogg you can see how the light came off him and he had to take a backseat when it came to 2pac. Look at all the jabs snoop took at pac after his death and during his life when he went on the radio saying he was cool with biggie even though biggie had his trailer shot up. Snoop saying he didn’t like hit ‘em up but you see him on stage having a good old time

And unlike a lot of people on Death Row, you never hear Dre bad mouth Pac.

It doesn't make sense for Dre to be jealous. He played the background for Cube/Eazy at Ruthless, he played the side when Snoop became the biggest new rapper in hip-hop after The Chronic, he stood back when Eminem started selling the most units out of any living rapper in the game, and he did the same when 50 blew up. For him to specifically, be jealous of Tupac would be weird. I think him and Suge just weren't seeing eye to eye over the direction of the label and Tupac was a Suge guy. A lot of the so-called jealousy just seems like dissention within the ranks of the label. I

    • @djhaynes99
      @djhaynes99 ปีที่แล้ว +1

None of these artists recorded 4 tracks a day though, put yourself in Dre’s shoes, Snoop and the dpg were lazy and off their faces on weed all the time, so we’re happy putting out 1 album every 2 years.
From what I’ve heard Suge signed Hammer which pissed Dre off, and when he signed Pac that was the last straw.
Suge was just meant to do the business side, not sign artists. Suge really ran the label into the ground by doing this.

Lady of Rage and RBX albums should have come out in 1993 or even by 1994, they instead blame Tupac for it even though Dr Dre was mostly hiding under house arrest for his 1991 assault on Rap tv show hostess Dee Barnes which Suge Knight paid millions for in laywer fees just to keep Dr Dre out of prison and part of the reason why Suge Knigh was on parole for a related situation with Dr Dre and Snoop.

Reggie I thought you were about the truth. You know for a fact the Dogg Pound didn't want anything to do with Pac and Suge especially at the end. That beef didn't start overnight. Snoop said it himself on the last flight with Pac and Suge he thought they were going to attack him. Snoop told all his Dogg Pound Crew not to go to Vegas because he didn't want them to be with Pac and Suge. You honestly want the world to believe that beef happened overnight? This tells a story that you are here for the convenient truth which suits your narrative. Listen to Daz and Kurupt interviews. Those guys felt Pac came to takeover and displace them, there was no love. It was all business but love was not part of it. We all know that Dre and Pac didn't live each other either and Snoop was like Dre's prodigy, so how can you say it didn't appear like that. That was a hostile environment.

There was always a slight beef between Pac and DPG
Starting from 93, when Daz/Snoop stole Pac lyrics from "I Gotta Get Mine"
    .
"Mind on my money and my money on my mind"
Pac responded "Nigga F that Gin N Juice bring me some Hennessy"
Warren G is the one who i believe got a copy of Pacs next album in 93. "Thug Style" Snoop was supposed to go to the "Animosity" session with Pac, Richie Rich, The Governor, Big Syke. Warren G production.
Snoop never showed up, so "Lie to Kick It" was made instead which seems like a tap to snoop "lying" about coming to the session and not showing up . Not the lyrics of the song
Snoop drops Gz & Hustlers on the same beat. DOGGYSTYLE // THUG STYLE
Snoop/Dre/Death Row beat em to the chase. And Pac cancelled the album.
On the song Thug Style the outro Pac says "this is album 3 Z!"
Since Gz and Husltaz was stolen from Pac
Pac steals the intro from Gz n Husltaz concept on OUTLAW, and Snoops line "Dear God i wonder could u save me"
They mustve got cool end of 93 once Pac signed the mini deal to Death Row for Murder Was The Case and Above The Rim
He recorded 5/7 songs for Death Row that we know of in 93/94, Warren G was the connect even tho he wasnt signed to DR Warren G is the one who connected Pac
"How Long Will They Mourn Me" - THUG LIFE / feat Nate Dogg
"Definition Of A Thug Nigga" - Poetic Justice soundtrack ( Warren G Indo Smoke w Nate and Mr. Grimm made the soundtrackn)
High Til I Die - Murder Was The Case (scrapped)
Hard on a Nigga - MWTC (scrapped)
    Pain - Above The Rim
Loyal To The Game - Above The Rim
Pour Out a Little Liquor - Above The Rim
Since Pac got paid $150,000 for the songs that didnt get used, we dunno how much he got paid for the Above The Rim songs but Pac/DPG were cool from then on.
"U know we just signed with Tha Row? Thug Life and Death Row ain't that a bitch" 93 gun range interview

2pac took snoop dogg Top Spot.
Not just Snoop but Dr Dre too.
2pac was the only artist who didn't Depend on Dr Dre for beats. Look at his albums. Daz did songs dj quik did songs. 2pac helped produce some too.
Snoop admitted himself 2pac took all the shine. His own crew were running with pac more than him. Dudes on Death row were just talking about it ( except Suge ) 2pac was About it actually doing what he talking. Not afraid to diss. Actually stepping to gangsters and thugs and cops.

Do your research its almost 30 years old now. There are videos of 2pac talking to neighborhood Drug Dealers talking about protect the kids. He went to Chicago getting into it with GD's bout the boy that got killed. Same thing in St Louis. Look up treach of naughty by nature. 2pac went to the gang in L.A. that wanted to kill treach and squashed it by himself.
