Happy Birthday to Meher Baba! I had to go back and rewatch this one, what a classic documentary. I just love all the pictures of the different saints and masters of various spiritual paths. Meher Baba shared spiritual knowledge in such a way that one could really feel the ubiquitousness of divine truths in various religions and spiritual masters of history. He was so universal in his nature.
Meher Baba's teachings resonate so deeply with the essence of love and truth. His presence is profoundly missed, but his wisdom continues to guide us. Thank you for the video 🙏 Jai Baba ❤

I've been a Baba lover since 1964. This video is S wonderful summation of Baba's infinite Gnosis. via God Speaks. And we are all connected, that is quite reassuring. Baba promises that someday everyone will experience infinite power, knowledge and bliss eternally--no matter where or what stage or state of awareness they are presently experiencing. Very reassuring Jai baba! .
Rightly mentioned GOD SPEAKS, An authoritative book on the theme of Creation & its purpose dictated by Avatar Meher Baba whose spiritual status is The Highest is, a blessing to humanity. This Book was prescribed in the syllabus of John F. Kennedy University. Its deep meaning can not be grasped in one reading but needs repetitive reading, its words are given spiritual force. Even keeping this book at home provides spiritual energy. Thanks, lord Meher.

I was fortunate enough to sit beside the Don who written god speak ..when he visted dehradoon ..to translate his words in hindi to baba lovers ..he says even the dust on the window of the baba room is enough to get the absolute unconditional and infine love of baba
Don DIDN'T WRITE God Speaks. Ivy Duce and Don were responsible for correcting the grammatical errors and punctuation marks. God Speaks was completely dictated by the Lord Himself and the supplements were compiled and edited from the notes of Dr.Ghani with Baba's approval. The glossary was compiled by Ludwig Dimpfl.
All the way back in my High School days, I borrowed God Speaks from the Public Library but I never read much of it . I brought it along with me for vacation and then returned it.
Moving forward, many years later as an adult, same experience. In both circumstances, I was never frustrated that I hadn't finished reading the book, only that one day I'd give it another try.
Now I know why.

A great short summary of one of the most important books ever written. If you haven't read the book, I'd recommend starting with 'Discourses' by Meher Baba first. This will ease you into the monumental work that is God Speaks

Right now in the world is spreading Dafa (Great Law) by Lord Creator Himself. The main book of Dafa is called "Zhuan Falun". It is much more powerful.
Yes, I've read "God Speaks" and also love and respect Meher Baba very much. But Dafa is still greater. You should learn more about it and read "Zhuan Falun". It has countless Gods, Buddhas and Daos behind each letter, as well as Master's Law Bodies.
This had to come sooner or later. Very glad that it has come now, that God Speaks now has the medium of video to carry Baba's words to the masses :)

I gave a 30 min presentation on the Charts contained in Godspeaks as part of the Celebrating the Avataric Legacy 2013 at Meherabad. I was inspired to do this having attended Ward's first 9 day workshop at Meherana last year.
He undertook a similar comparision of each chart to the 10 states chart, and then looked at the Master Chart of Infinite Intelligence through the prism of the 10 states chart.
I think God Speaks makes it easier for modern folks understand Buddhism, Christianity, Islam better and more accurately.

... An enlightened beings words are the Fa (law) at his level and only when one reaches his level can he truly understand. The best thing to do is to be humble and empty and then higher truths are revealed.
This sounds incredibly and ridiculously simplified. going from plant to worm to fish etc.
It's not simple when you read the book. It's the most complex spiritual book I've ever tried to understand. I am college educated and I promise you this. I've read all Baba's discourses and most of his books and spent 10 years visiting the Ashrams in US and India.

I've read a lot of Meher Baba's books and books of His devotees. I was and still respect Meher Baba very much. I also read the book God Speaks more than 10 years ago and it was quit an eye opening for me at that time. About five years ago I started practicing Falun Gong, which is the Law of the Universe that is widely saving sentient being now. Master of Falun Dafa is a Buddha from an extremely high level. The main book of the teaching is called "Zhuan Falun"....

When looking from a higher level, the "love" you are seeking is an attachment. This "love" is known as a qing god. When qing is abandoned, compassion will follow. Fundamental character of the Universe is Truth, Compassion, Forbearance that manifests differently at different levels.

I'll be glad to add you on FB, Devorn. Our Teacher says that Zhuan Falun - is the Law of the Whole Cosmos. It was not only unknown to humans before, but even Gods did not know that the Universe had a Law. I've read most of Meher Baba's works, and I can say that only over time did I manage to enlighten that Zhuan Falun contains things that Baba said in his works. In fact, don't think that because you read Baba's works, you know what he is talking about....

All avatar or incarnation of the Lord are mentioned in srimad bhagawatam , there is no mention of this self proclaimed god anywhere in the vedic Scriptures

A ''G+d realized'' person doesn't need a body that's given to its Carbon adventure.
If Meher Baba died then he couldn't be considered to be "The Avatar" that he has
called himself. The True Avatar doesn't need to throw off a body but is able to be
transfigured into the 'Light Body' directly, like Christ, leaving no traces of any dust.

NO. When I first read your question I thought maybe the Tonight Show wasn't even on while He was in His body, but I looked it up and surprisingly it would have been possible, as the original Tonight Show started in 1954 and Johnny Carson took over in 1962, but Baba never returned to the USA after He was last here (and had His car "accident" in which He shed blood in America) in 1958.
Interesting idea though, I wonder if Johnny Carson would have had the slightest idea how to interview someone who didn't speak!! LOL!

What is the point of not speaking when you have a mouth to speak and instead use keyboard to point to keys? Somebody please explain. I genuinely want to know. In my view, spiritual master should directly communicate with the disciples without the need for someone to speak for them when the master can do it himself. There won’t be any confusion or wrong translation in the message. Why use keyboard or someone to speak for you when you can clearly communicate and give unequivocal message to your disciples?

There is so much of what Baba says that agrees with other spiritual teachers' ideas. Schwaller de Lubicz - the great interpreter of Egyptian 'mysteries' (though badly translated into English) had similar notions of consciousness driven evolution in the mineral, vegetable and animal kingdoms. MacDonald-Bayne - a remarkable teacher and healer who spent time in Tibet after WWl where he witnessed amazing 'materialisations' is credited with bringing Eastern practices to the West. There are many accounts from well-balanced, intelligent people that when he spoke at meetings his physical form changed to that of Christ and angelic music and beautiful fragrances were experienced. Hmm...?
This may or may not have been the case - I think such phenomena are irrelevant just as is Baba's impossible to substantiate claim that he had been Zoroaster, Buddha and Jesus. I think to the modern mind such claims tend to be counter-productive and detract from an otherwise efficacious teaching.
They never really explained what was mean by "opposite impressions". Does this mean experiencing both sides of an experience such as a murderer swapping roles with the victim on the next go round?
that's a good question that i too ponder. Male goes to female - opposite. Poor goes to rich?? Not sure - good question.
To me, it means to experience complete knowledge and complete ignorance at the same time. It's like experiencing being the drop and the ocean at the same time. While Baba experiences to be God, he also experiences himself through its creation. Also, if we think about it... everything is created in pairs, everything has opposite impressions... day and night, hot and cold, etc etc... In order for a new creature to exist, it needs to come from another 2 (while being one, it contains opposite impressions within it)....
