Yup live and learn It's the mental game - Reviewing those 3 match points you can see her hesitation, not going for it, whereas when she was down in the final tiebreak she played to win
And the grunt of a cheater. I don't care what anyone says, her prolonged grunt gets louder and longer in the third set. If you are still screaming when the ball is on your opponents court you are cheating.
@@blackblake3658 What I can say is, you don't your EARS to strike the ball okay, it's combination of your EYES, MIND, (mentality) and DEXTERITY of your hands period. Thank you!
Охренеть , что сделала Соболенко 😱😱😱0:40 с чужой подачи вытащила матч🥳🥳🥳. Молодец поздравляю, очередной пример, что нужно всегда идти и верить до конца👍👏
Very similar to the Coco Gauff match. When the better players needed to step up, as shaky as it was, they figured out a way to do it. Not the most confidence-inspiring win, but it's on to the next round.
@@jessicabradley6657didn’t say it was Gauffs match, but said it was SIMILAR to how the match had to be won by 2 top 5 players like Gauff & Sabalenka playing against unranked opponents everyone knows that those 2 top tier players would have folded in yrs past when behind in sets but the mental fortitude that they’re showing through their matches that were SIMILAR to each other help get them back in the matches to win it, I’m sure Postive Vibes wasn’t trying rain on Saba’s party, but just stated some obvious facts
The match of the tournament, hands down. Great sportsmanship at the net from both and I loved Aryna's praise of Stearns in her on court interview. These two gave us great tennis!!
What a match! Thanks for the great highlights! 4 match points needed by both but despite the inspired tennis Peyton played, it was Aryna who wrapped it up.
Peyton has nothing to be ashamed of. Based on these highlights, she had a great plan and mostly executed. I love how she was managing Aryna’s power while making hot shots of her own. Well done to both ladies!
Congratulations to Aryna Sabalenka. You are a true Champion. I was wondering how Stearns became so competitive in this match. Was it the crowd or playing at home? I have never seen her in a foreign tournament to be so competitive. good job though.
1:46 That's the new mental strength of Sabalenka. In the past she would smash her racquet to the floor and most likely scream, and in the end she would lose the match but now she accepts it and applauds the point won by her opponent and in the end she wins the match
Incredible effort from both, but am glad Sabalenka pulled through. It's impressive she has added some variety to her power game. As i have said countless times. Every opponent can be extremely dangerous in modern tennis. It's not easy being a top player in this era.
Stearns is the truth. She is about to be a force on the tour effortlessly powerful. This is going to be the year of separation from the best and the rest
gah!!!! Peyton!! Amazing..... great match dynamics.....the match didnt fall Peyton's way, but next time.....and the moral here is keep fighting for every point. Well done to both!!!!
Hopefully Stearns takes the positives out of this match. She also learned how tough it is to close out a match against the top players. Well done, Screaming Sabalenka.
Looks like Stearns performs really well when she's behind under pressure, but not when she's ahead with the pressure of closing. Quite unfortunate as she really deserved to take this win, but it looks like nerves got the best of her. She made some of her gameplay look so easy, with the depth, power, and control she was shotmaking moving Sabalenka.
Sabalenka has to be careful, she is extending her scream too long (all the way until the opponent makes contact with the ball) and that should be penalized!
Sabalenka recently doesn’t look as good as in the AO - But great fight from both! Match of the year contender 🔥 Hope she didn’t hurt herself too badly in the 3rd set 🤍🦁
Her game is not as great as in the AO also because the surface is really not the same. Indian wells and Miami have slow surface, so it’s tough for the player who are used to kick hard on the ball
One ace and she wins. That's what peak Osaka, Serena and even Sharapova had in their arsenal. Why women don't spend more time perfecting the most important shot in the game?
This was harder for Saba than the Australian open final
So true
After AO Sabalenka decreased her level
@marcinzagol6818 this didn't age well
One of the best matches of year. Atleast that 3rd set was crazy good tennis
Dam 5-4 40-0 is brutal, hopefully she can take the good out of her performance, tough pill to swallow for sure
Yup live and learn

looked close but she was spent.
What an ending. Stearns has a future, for sure.
Like raducanu hâhha
she has. as an influencer and simp collector.
Nah, this is all you'll hear of her 😂
Future? Missing out 3 straight match points at this level? She can't handle pressure.
@@vikrantprabhu11 Tf, sabalenka had 3 match points too. What's your point?
One of the best highlights in a while! All the critical/turning points of the match were shown here
Now that’s some good hitting!! Both players fighting til the end! Congrats to Sabalenka! Great job ladies.
Peyton - So proud of your effort! I can't wait to see more tennis from you!!
*I totally agree!* 👍
You think she’s gonna read this lol
Saba's mettle was tested as a champion and she proved it! ❤
Sabalenka fast lost this match😂😂
Ganó más por errores de su contrincante que por méritos
What a mighty Champion 🏆
Вытянула наша Саба-сила
That comeback is what champions 🏆 🥇 🏅 are made of

This was an incredible match, and strong contender for match of the year goddamn
More entertaining than Grand Slam Final 😆
That was some brave tennis 3 match points down. If she carries this win for the rest of the year, she’s going to have another spectacular year
she is finished

That Was Epic Battle Of The Year Between Sabalenka & Stearns It’s Was Unreal
The beginning of a rivalry
Well damn, Stearns played outstanding against Sabalenka. What an exciting and intense match. Best so far!
Sabalenka improved her mental, she kept her focus like never before. Very sad for Stearns and also very impressed with her level of play.
that was one of the most amazing tennis games❤

Very impressed with Stearns.

Bro this was BIG BABE TENNIS 🎾🎾
Wow that girl Peyton played amazing. Can’t wait to see more
Damn that was like a grand slam final. Stearns is one to watch.
Incredible battle
Saba plays her best tennis when she is losing. She is the comeback queen!
This is the difference between a great player and a champion. Sabalenka has grown so much as a tennis player, I’m really impressed.
Would not be budged out the exit. A performance of real grit and courage and a dance of joy and relief at the end for the world number 2!
I really like Peyton's forehand, technic is so good. She should be in top 20s

AMAZING match, the best of the year so far. Aryna Sabalenka you are a CHAMPION.
Amazing match!
What an epic match, Stearns played brilliantly! But Sabalenka with the nerves of steel showing us why she's a champion!
From Madison Keys to now, Peyton. Sabalenka is inflicting deadly chokes on Americans
Sabalenka is really starting to have some control over her emotions. And she's becoming stronger for it!
I watched this live and I literally was going crazy. Sabalenka had me in stitches! 😂

No moonballing to see here. What a match!!
Moonballing is an effective strategy. Both women could have used it.
Pure class from both players. 🔥🔥

Wonderful!
Man, Sabalenka's mental game has come so far in the last year
What an epic match. Saba just avoided an upset.
This was a very tough match and so enjoyable Sabalenka proved she is a real champion, let's go Sab.

What a game, already look like final tho! SABALENKA SLAYYYY
this is the reason why a love tennis, that focus its insane!
What a comeback 🙈😂😂
Wow, love how Stearns played, so much gusto! Serving out the match is hard.

Sabalenka nailed it
if Stearns can't win a set with match point then she deserves to lose it
Watching sabalenka when she is on her game, no other ladies cut after watching her.
Much better than grand slam final
Wow, that was such a tense rollercoaster ending even for a highlight.
Peyton has game! When she learns to keep being aggressive when serving for matches, she'll be an insane force!
