I'm only 25 pounds overweight, BMI of 29. I have HFpEF, diagnosed in 2022 and an ejection fraction of 70%. I also have neuropathy and advanced degenerative arthritis which make it hard to walk and exercise. I use a walker to get around, which is getting more difficult by the day. I have shortness of breath at rest and with exertion. Would I be a good candidate for SGLT2 inhibitors?
Always fascinating and edifying to hear what Dr Kosiborod has to say.

Fat lot of good this will be for Medicare patients on fixed incomes.
