Capcity is 940lbs and I am definitely under weight. Everything has been done to keep it as light as possible. Aluminum floor, thin plywood walls, etc. I also added float pods to increase the weight capacity roughly 200lbs as an added precaution. With the pods, I do not forsee any issues with how it sits in the water.
I bought this side council for my boat rebuild and the top came warped and scratched but i did buy the all black version.. this tan version probably hides all those imperfections. It also came with no bolts for the angle mount... I had to reinforce the side wall with a 2*6 to give it enough strength to lean on... im telling you look elsewhere when it comes to these councils. not worth the money.
I went with the RPD 1822 Side Console Kit: amzn.to/3IhesPg
Love your content!! As a Jon boat owner with an interest in doing some mods, I find your videos very informative.
Just picked up a 2002 Lowe 16-48 thinking bout a side console will be following good content so far
I would never go back to a tiller!
Love the build, what is the weight capacity of the boat and have you weighed any of the wood or things your adding?
From your past boat builds do you think it will effect the way it sets in the water?

looking great
What year model is this boat, I like the way the mod v front looks. Almost like the new trackers.
That's exactly why I went after this boat! And has a very modern mod V setup. Unfortunately it's a Landau which is no longer made.
