What a nice looking cowl! Hmmm, I usually makes things for others, so I think I'll make this for myself before winter is over - thank you Crystal. You're so inspiring!!!
Crystal, you son has really come into his own, he is really a handsome young man. And he let his mama take his picture, guess he isn’t as camera shy as he use to be. Much love to you and yours. I’m gonna try and do that twisted cowl. Lol
That is so clever to twist it twice - so you can see the beautiful stitch no matter which way it's showing, I never would have thought of that. (What a good son you have).
You hit the mark yet again! I had my yarn ready and turned on my messages and there you were with a fantastic stitch for me. Thank you! By the way, your model is very handsome. We finally get to see him. I know you feel blessed by these sons and daughters. See you tomorrow, my Friend.
Keith's Writer's Block was my favorite from that last batch and I love how it worked up. This cowl is one I will make starting tonight. Thanks so much for putting this together for us. 💜 Looks great on your handsome son!
Hi Crystal, love all the yarn you just got, I knew your fingers would be wanting to play with it. Love the star stitch. The Cowell is gorgeous. Your son is very handsome.😊
What a great picture! My youngest sister just asked me to make her something like this, I told her to wait until I found her the perfect one for her, looks like she is going to get it soon 😂 Thank you Crystal for the wonderful pattern!
The cowl worked up very nice in that colorway. Your son is a very nice looking young man. It's so nice that he modeled for his mom💝 I just finished a 6ft long scarf in the star stitch using black and neon violet. It turned out great and the person who ordered it absolutely loved it. I really like doing the star stitch and now I'm going to make a twisted cowl. Thank you so much for this great tutorial 🤗 Love and God's blessings to you and your family 🙏🏻🤗💖
Hi Crystal, the cowl is lovely and your son is so handsome. I love crocheting the star stitch…it’s such a pretty stitch.Thank you for this tutorial.🧶⭐️😍
I may have said this before, but I so appreciate how you teach us. Some videos are only show a couple rows and then leave you hanging. Thank you Crystal for all you do to help us learn these beautiful stitches and patterns. You are the best.
Oh waoooo...What a handsome boy, bless his heart❤. The cowl is gorgeous, i love the star stitch alot, i just made an ear warmer with it now i will make a matching cowl . Thank you so much Sweetlady❤❤❤❤, God bless you and your family and keep you all safe🙏
This is beautiful. Your son makes a very handsome model too! I time stamped for myself others might like it too. Thanks, Crystal! I am definitely making this. Start of rd 2 (1st star): 7:31 2nd star in the row: 8:55 End of 2nd , start of Rd 3: 11:56 Rd 4: 16:14
Crystal, I actually understood how to do that stitch! I love the twisted cowl made with the Writer's Block yarn. I figured that yarn would be very pretty worked up. Thank you for adding a new stitch to ones I will be able to do and for the twisted design. It's a whole lot easier than twisting your finished piece, then stitching the ends together. Saves time and less work is always a hit with me. 😁 Blessings!
Soooo pretty! Love the colors too! Nice that your handsome son let you use him as a model! I think this is one I will make. Thanks Crystal for another super tutorial! Stay safe & much love! 💕🤗💕
I used the stitches to make a blanket and to me. It’s absolutely beautiful. So to me this is absolutely beautiful Crystal. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day.❤🤍💖
Hey Crystal, I am ADDICTED to your crochet projects! I am currently working on a Valentine's Day Shawl for my granddaughter. It's red ♥️, pink, white 🤍, and purple 💜 I also made some little crochet hearts I am going to make a drawstring for the top of the shawl with the hearts dangling off. I used GLOW-IN-THE-DARK YARN for the hearts
I made this for my daughter with Caron Blossom Cakes yarn in Passion Fruit and she loved it. Such a great tutorial and it turned out beautifully. I’d been wanting to make something with the Star Stitch and it was fun to make. Can’t wait to make more of Crystal’s patterns!
This is really nice. I am presently frogging a boring pattern I was using for a wrap to use this gorgeous pattern instead. Thanks so much for this tutorial 🥰
BTW Crystal you are so right! I want to crochet a sweater and have been looking and comparing prices. With all the sales going on right now, Ice Yarn is still the cheapest even with the crazy shipping cost. Thank you for letting us know.
Thank you for the great tutorial! My first impression was that it looked like waves. I need to make it. I've knitted a mobius, but have recently turned to crochet once again.
Oh my, guess I have to order some MORE yarn.... lol I love that variation of black and white. I know just the newspaper person to give it to as well. Thanks Crystal for another great job!
What a beautiful piece of work! Your so so talented! I chain 12 and I did it! Idk why I could follow u on this one, but couldn’t yet do it on another stitch tutorial you made! Thank you for showing it so so close up! 🙏🙏🧶🧶🧶🧶

I like this pattern. I've been trying to find something for my cousin. I have a couple of 3 weight skeins I'm going to use. It's after 1 AM, I want to get out of bed and go start. Lol
Crystal, I have been looking for a pattern for a messy bun beanie. I have made many beanies from your instructional videos. You are excellent teacher. Could you please teach us to make a messy bun beanie? My favorite so far is the SUPER TEXTURED BEANIE HAT. By the way, I have never even heard about these messy bun beanies until my Daughter mentioned them. Thank you, Crystal, for sharing your creativity.

The star stitch is a beautiful stitch but with my epilepsy and seizure meds messing with my memory, I know that I would really mess them up. It really keeps me from doing the really pretty stuff.

What a handsome lad. How excited were you that he let you do that lol? My kids would have to be chased and sat on first lol
