Quick tip: Start wrapping the hair around the rod from the ends, wrapping the hair around itself as you go up the hair shaft. This method will keep the ends secure around the rod. Loved the tutorial. 👍God Bless! ☺

I’m so glad I found your channel. I wear my hair very similar to yours (just a little shorter since I’m in the military) even to wear I wear my part. I love seeing the way you style your hair while maintaining your hair’s healthy look. Hopefully I can style my hair as well as you do without breaking mine off! It’s very annoying trying to find stylist in different cities... especially those cities that lack black salons/ people who specialize in African American hair.

Glad to see this post is 2yrs ago. I had worn a relaxer all my life and it was hard to let it go. I actually had to start over 3 times bc I wasn't used to my natural the true me, but as of today it's been 4 yrs. I do flat iron sometimes.

I have to add a light leave-in to my relaxed hair for it to result in any type of roller shape. For some reason, my hair needs a crutch to get along. Your style came out perfectly.

Lovely😍 . I have the same length hair. I have a texturizer not a relaxer. I just have to blow dry and hot comb the ends of my hair ; to have a ‘relax’ look. I’ll use Motions hair mousse to set my hair. I’ll be sitting under a hair dryer 4 30 mins , and sleeping with the rods. Thank you. You look gorgeous ❗️

This style is lovely and healthy I have been searching for a simple way of doing my hair like this. Especially a dry flexi-rod set....and you use limited product on your hair, that is What I like. My issue is that I need to know what to use on my hair for shine becais2 I have color n it and it looks dry.

Do the curls stay like this through out the day? I feel like whenever I curl my hair, it looks good in the morning but all the curls fall by the end of the day unless I use a bunch of hair spray/gel, etc (could also because I live in DC which is humid af, haha)
