Everything prior to Antony's finish, yeah, it was immaculate, but that finish was terrible and the keeper is appalling for letting that in, basic save, could have caught the thing.
Unbelievable how thorough the VAR here is, they checked for a red card, while in the PL they will ignore any tackle, no VAR, if the ref is paid to give a red he'll do it, otherwise, he won't.. Fair play here..

It doesn’t mean anything. Almost every time the club that ends the 2nd in the competition wins it because they have to qualify for the Champions league so they get more time to prepare instead of the 1st because they instant qualify for group stage, so it’s mostly about how fit the selections are.

Athleticism is becoming a bigger and bigger factor in top level football. Bassey Kudus and Brobbey should be in the starting XI attack like mancity with the ball defend like Liverpool without the ball.
They´ve been saying that for years. The whole idea behind the Ajax football style is that you don´t need that because you have the ball and 11 technical players.

Should’ve been a win if you saw how they scored but still 5 goals against are way too many even if they are unlucky. Ajax attack and midfield is looking pretty well, Gorter needs some more time and Ajax should reconnect the defence but that comes with time. I have all trust in these boys, especially Kudus.

Ik snap niet hoe zo een goed team, het voor elkaar krijgt om precies de verkeerde jongens op te stellen. Ik snap dat de Gorter wil wegen, maar best wel achterlijk om dat in deze wedstrijd te doen. Ach ja, als dit de grootste klap is dit jaar, moet het wel goedkomen.
Ja dit is niet de Gorter zoals wij hem bij Eagles kennen. Vergeet niet dat hij een record heeft gezet met clean sheets op zeer jonge leeftijd. Ik denk dat het niet slim was om hem te laten debuteren in zo'n grote wedstrijd. Daarnaast vond ik z'n fouten ook geen mega grote blunders, eerder ongelukkig...
