How to purchase and select your advance Lightning Lane Multi Passes using the Disney World app

It's so easy to purchase and select your Lightning Lane Multi and Single passes in advance using the new system in My Disney Experience. Here's a quick walkthrough of the whole process, and some things you need to know when making your selection.

Great video but TH-cam already has closed captions features to turn on and off and so it can be really distracting to have another permanent set of captions throughout your entire video. My only suggestion is to only use your captions in the first 10 seconds of your video and then turn them off.

Thanks for this very hepfull video! I live in France so i can't book LL in advance but i will be in Miami one week before my wdw stay. Do you think i can book LL one week in advance from Miami? Thanks

If you're inside the US at the time, and have a reservation at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can book 7 days in advance. They limits are tied to where you physically are, not where you live.

So can I make the passes the day of or do I have to make them before my ticketed day, never mind finished the video

As a convenience, you can make your first 3 Lightning Lane selections 3-7 days in advance of your visit. You don't have to do it in advance though - you can wait until the day of at 7 am if you like. Making them in advance lets you skip that extra step when you're getting ready to go to the parks, and can make it easier to get Lightning Lane passes for some of the more popular attractions.
