- The power of transcendental sound has been channeled by various traditions, throughout history and throughout the world. Chants, prayers, hymns, recitation of sacred texts, can awaken our inherent spiritual nature.
'Mantra' is a sanskrit word meaning 'that which liberates and cleanses the mind'. Mantra refers to a sacred sound formula that is vibrated repeatedly, as a process of purifying the heart and mind, allowing the innate brilliance within to shine out into every aspect of our lives. So simple, but so powerful!
The mantra: 'Radhe Govinda;' awakens the heart to its divine nature, and brings about joy and true inner satisfaction..
The arrangement of this tune was inspired by Krishna Das, Pragjibhai Ladva and Agnideva Das, where the entry to the kirtan consists of joyful free playing and crowd participation, creating a mood that inspires loving devotion.

Well that's not necessary. In kaliyuga western people don't even follow vedic culture. We all should pay attention to the naam of lord. As per shastra there is no difference between name and krishna. People may forget to say mahamantra if they will see only pictures of Radha Krishna but if its written then they will knowingly or unknowingly say out the name . Dancing in front of name of krishna is equivalent to dancing in front of swarup krishna
No doubt darshan of lord as picture or deities is important but callingout to the lord is more important in kaliyuga. It's really good if only the name is presented on the screen

For kind information Krishna Movement is spreading in western countries and when in all iskcons there is kirtan /katha conducts by devotees always in presence of Dities /picture.
When Prabhupada visit to Committee regarding krishnaconcious Movement there is hall where evryone sitting ,he saw everywhere then Asked a Organiser :- where is krishna's photo ? he told :- why is it necessary ? Prabhupad said:- whenever is Political or Legal Meeting Happen (e.i Sansad Bhawan,Judiciary Court )why there is Photos of Freedom Fighter (e.i Subash chandra bose ,Mahtma gandhi , jawaharlalnehru) present for ?
