Great video man. I like to foam before i rinse the car. Learned from Yvan lecroy you can induce scratches with the dirt and pressure washer with no lubrication. Probably slim chance but since then I foam, rinse, then foam again and go in with contact. So many ways to get the job done for sure.
Nice! Yup so many ways to get the job done..thanks for sharing your process and for watching 👊🏼

Hi Chris, checking in from Clinton Township Michigan, (just north of Detroit). This was a very informative video, thank you so much for taking the time to put it together. I'm a DIY'er and I've spent quite a bit of money on detailing equipment and supplies for the 3 vehicles that my Wife and I own. If I could make a suggestion, it would be about the leaf blower, most, if not all of them, do not have a filter on them, so it's actually pulling in whatever is in the air and blasting it right back onto the vehicle. I'm not really sure if it makes that big of a difference, it was just a thought. I bought the Adams Polishes Air Cannon Jr, and it works really well, it blows HOT filtered air which also assists in drying the water as it is being blown off the surface and, in the cracks, and crevices. There are also many other air dryers on the market to choose from and I understand completely that most everyone would be able to afford a leaf blower over the pricey device like I bought. I just wanted to throw that out there.
May God continue to Bless you in your endeavors Sir. Cap'n Dan
Hello there, firstly thanks for commenting and for your info about leaf blowers..the ones with filters are cool too. So many measures one can take in detailing..air filters on blowers is just another step one can take if desired. Shout out all Michigan viewers! Blessings 🙏🏻

Nice video Chris. 🇨🇦🇯🇲. Do a video like this with a bike and it ago sell off!!!
Respect man..where in Canada?..and btw that’s a good idea!
I’m in Alberta. Bike washes for the HD guys will do well. But please do an adventure bike for us BMW guys
@@richardclarke8117 if I ever get my hands on one I will film a vid…shout out Alberta!
A few ideas to consider:
1. Clean face of wheel before the barrel, otherwise you are grinding in major break dust onto the surfaces of the wheel
2. Best to refoam before contact wash. This is beneficial for two reasons - more lubricacy to minimize scratching when washing and help avoid water spotting
3. Hopefully you are rinsing the detail brush as you go around car. Maybe you did off camera.
All good tips! So many right ways to detail. Access the vehicle, situation and flow with the process that works best..and yes I do rinse my brushes on the regular 👍🏻
Love the tips and all videos good vibes hermano👊 any tips for trims besides gyeon
Thanks man, positive energy and good vibes we promote around here for sure..for trims..besides Gyeon TRIM coating, I use Chemical Guys VRP sometimes for a temporary restored look

Why do people teach their craft for free on TH-cam? There are millions of people doing this for a living and you’re just giving it away. Here’s an example: last week I ran into a plumbing issue that would have required me to call a professional, but thanks to TH-cam somebody lost out on a job. This is happening millions of times a day.
