So can you just convert a Wilson 1786 and similar profiles to a Padroia fit? I understand the finger stalls are slightly lower, but can you use a tighter wrist to make a 1786 work for a 10 year old?

What kind of lace do you use?
You just cut the tip of the lace at an angle and screw it in to the needle.
