it's interesting because tae is someone that truly has endured a lot. he's a sensitive, kind and pure soul and he's said this before but when he loves something or someone he pours his heart into them. I can't imagine the pain he went through while living through his grandmother's passing, one of his best friend's committing, and then his grandfather dying as well all within the time span of a year from each other. not only that but during all of those tragedies he was on schedule so he didn't even have time to grieve or mourn. you can see that those events still affect him greatly to this day, as he still cries over them (as shown through released clips) and how he often kisses his finger and points up at the sky in memory of his dear ones. not only this but he seems to have a stronger wall around him now. he used to be very bubbly with anyone he met but about a year ago taehyung confessed to being more wary around who he befriends now because a lot of people have been using him just for his status and his fame. now we as fans don't know what happened with that, but its safe to assume that someone he once trusted ended up hurting him. recently taehyung looks better, he seems happier and for that I'm very grateful. 2020 was a dark year but if anything, at least it allowed for him to have a mental and physical break so he can properly regroup himself. he seems refreshed and a lot more energized and I hope he stays happy and healthy for years to come:)

Aside from the sadness of losing his loved one, I think he just... grew up. The way Seokjin grew up to be more confident, the way Jungkook grew up to be more comfortable with his brothers. It's heartbreaking, though. I remember ARMY being so worried because Tae wasn't like himself around Spring Day era? But then he told us that his grandma went to heaven and he cried so much and it was heartbreaking to see someone so pure, someone so precious who deserves all the good things in the world, being left forever by someone he loves dearly. I hope he's always surrounded by good people who loves him, I hope he's happy, even when he's sad I hope he's able to gain strength and stand up again 💜☹🥺
I appreciate your message about his growing up, and seeing a more mature and less childlike person. That's a natural move into adulthood; we all change over time, hopefully, to become our best selves. It's been so rewarding to watch him grow into such a lovely human.

Tae wears his heart on his sleeve, that's why it's so easy to see the different "phases" of his life since BTS debuted. Kim taehyung grew up so well, he's always been so multitalented and genius u should watch "kim taehyung multitalented king", and this year he proved himself more as a producer, composer and lyricistic, he's an amazing artist with so much soul, his stage presence is unmatched and that's why he's called idol of idols since a lot of idols/rookies study his fancams from facial expressions to singing and dancing, he's a role model!
He's literally an angel, the members love him so much as much as he loves them and they call him their happiness preacher!! He has a very funny, savage, pure and nice personality, he loves his parents so much and always uses his dad as his role model!
In terms of talent he just can't be stopped, him and jk are the most competitive in the grp, it's funny cz they're both the youngest and they share a lot of hobbies together.

Tae is a creative genius. He actually has the second highest IQ in Bangtan after RM. I became an army before they revealed him as the 7th member and then I instantly fell in for this quirky kid lol. I couldn't decide my bias until then but when I did, it was done. He is that person who always shows people what he feels and never pretends or tries to put on a fake persona. I love that about him. My forever BTS bias!

BigHit hid V because they were afraid He would be "stolen" by another company. BigHit didn't have a lot of money back then and they had found Taehyung. But they were scared if one the 3 biggest companies of Kpop ever saw and heard V, they would snatch him by offering him more money. So they kept him a secret until he debuted. That's how confident they were of his talents. For some of the other members of BTS, they had already auditioned elsewhere before BigHit and been passed by but V was a BigHit discovery. Is that the real reason why Bighit hid V, from what I heard they heard V because he was just the last card to BTS. I heard they had no choice but to put him there as kind of just "stay there" kind of thing. I don't really know much but that's what I heard fam.

There’s a video that has V genius moments and it really changed my mind on how I saw him. Now I get mad when I see clips focusing on him like he’s zoning or spaced out. I think he’s such a deep thinker that he needs to process his thoughts differently. But he is so so smart you can tell by the conclusions he makes when answering questions.

Yes, Tae is very unique person. He saw something/someone etc with onother/different perspective. Luckily he has support from his teammates that he can more confident for everything that he want to do.
Just FYI - "sexy" is used in a wider sense in Korean. In addition to the conventional sexual attraction, it can be a big bundle of admirable, exciting, appealing, clever, witty, cunning, intriguing, impressive, unique, charming, extraordinary, etc., therefore inspiring that sense of magnetism "sexy" gives off.
So when RM says V's brain is sexy, or someone calls someone sexy for whatever, there is another layer to it than the "I want to jump your bones" way we use it in the west.

I think several things have happened with V....significant people in his life died, not just his granma. He also matured naturally with age...there's a HUGE difference between a 18 yr old teenager and a 25 yr old man. And he has been thru a time of career burn-out as we saw in Blue & Grey. There are probably multiple other things that have happened that we don't know about. Just imagine being in this giant phenomenon we call BTS and realizing, maybe around 22 -23 yrs old that you will NEVER have a normal love life/dating life....that's a pretty lonely thought to deal with at that age (I can say this, as I am 60). I get a bit tired of hearing "He's not himself"....perhaps he IS, and we just need to accept him and quit telling him how WE think he should be.

- 4 o' clock : Tae composed the bridge / chorus part and RM helped him with the verses. He wrote this at 4 in the morning at the park waiting for Jimin (after having an argument over a dumpling with him haha). Also many people testified that their depression has cured through this song.
- Winter Bear : Tae took most of the videos and directed the mv himself. And there's a theory by Korean armys that Winter Bear means his grandma. Although tae did not exlained the meaning of the lyrics, to me it's very likely.
In the mv tae asks a blue parrot (an extinguished bird) to come fly to see him. He keeps walking backward, missing the past days when he was with her. As the bear should hibernate in winter, tae aks her to "sleep happily", accepting the fact that she has to "sleep" for now, but he wants her to wake up someday like the bear to meet him again🙏🏻💜

Taehyung is definitely really unique as you said. I just love the way he always thinks outside of the box, I love his humor, his carefree personality, and that he can be very straightforward too. I love how all of that comes through in his art, whether it's in photos, drawings or music (god... his solo music outside of BTS is amazing, filled with so much emotion it can really tell you a lot about him). He is an individual that always catches my attention, I also feel like he is an old but also young soul, don't know if that makes sense lmao, but I feel like he inspires so much childlike wonder. He might not be my bias but he has such an special place in my heart, for many reasons I don't think I'll ever be able to fully put into words.

To me, his most lovable side is how he wears his heart out on his sleeve and he loves taking care of others, yet at the same time he cares about himself too. He is just so easy to love and loves loving back too

You are right V is very unique and he has not been the same since a friend of his committed suicide and his grandmother died during the same time, and that is when he became depressed and more serious. A lot of that is expressed in his song Blue & Gray.

I love 4 o'clock, it's one of my favorite songs! Tae thinks outside the box. I loved watching the BT21 series. The character he created is so unique just like he is. He's birthday Vlive was yesterday and it's funny to see how somethings have changed and other haven't. He still says he wants to be cooler for army. I personally don't think army can handle too much more lol! He teased his mixtape about 4 times even though he wasn't suppose to. We are still trying to figure out if it was 1 song played 4 times or 4 songs played once lol! He was looking at the staff behind the camera and laughing. He is such a rebel and a tease lol! He sang Snow Flower and talked about it a little bit too. He is one of the few members who has refused his own studio as it is not conducive to his creative process. He seems happier now and I am so grateful for that. I just want my lil brothers to be happy, you know? Borahae, I'll be waiting on that 4'oclock reaction Nico lol!

Nice reaction to V, our bday young man! I just wanted to add my two cents as to V getting quieter...as there could be a mired of reasons, I stay away from assumptions we can hear or theories pieced together that some speak to like their facts. They share so much, so for me unless it came directly from his mouth I try to leave it alone, because its really none of my business...lol! However, one aspect to consider I think, is maybe that he's matured/maturing? I think most of us and exactly like my 2 adult boys in their late 20's know that once we hit certain milestones in age that our personalities and characters can shift and change somewhat. We can start mellowing out a little or drastically, as well as become bolder and more out spoken if you once were the quiet type. Anyways, as the saying goes, he could just be coming into his own. I still see that impulsiveness and quirkiness in him from time to time. Regardless I love all parts of himself that he's shared with us and always pray for him and all the guys to be and find their happy in the midst of their growth trials and struggles.
