  • You probably shouldn't watch this video.
    I'm talking quite a bit of nonsense and the only reason I'm uploading it because I started editing it quite a while back - when the footage was new - and decided that I wanted to finish it.
    Also, I'm still figuring out DaVinci Resolve (and running the new beta isn't helping) which is why the color grading and white balance is all over the place.
    I've learned more about welding since shooting this and if you want some proper welding information, check these channels out:

    To summarize the video; the Stanley Star 7000 is a really nice little welder that packs quite the punch for its size. I'm glad I have it and it's proven to be quite useful.
    Thanks for watching.

    It was fun to watch nevertheless. I like the honesty and the blurbs don't change that.

    great, only review I found on these Stanley welders. What do you reckon of Stanley Weldstar 3200?

    • @MartinNr5
      @MartinNr5  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Ivan! I haven't had the chance to use a Weldstar 3200 unfortunately. I haven't been doing very much metal work lately at all in fact. If I get the chance to test one out, I'll let you know.

      @@MartinNr5 hey, nevermind that specific model I mentioned. I see they are all alike, only difference being in power output and amperage. Just general, do you find the Stanley welders sufficient for light farm work, like plates and plows etc.?

      @MartinNr5  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ivancota9762 Yeah, I would say so. The one I have is of good quality and puts out the power I need for anything. As I mention in the video, I seldom weld the really thick stuff but if you get a welder with enough power for the thickness you want to weld, it should work very well.

    And how it works. I am interested to bay it but I am worried if thermal protection activate after 10 electrodes?

      Hi Pedja! I haven't pushed it extremely hard but I've done quite a bit of welding and not noticed any issues with thermal protection.
      The duty cycle is pretty low on max amperage though, so keep that in mind.

    Couple weeks ago I bought Star 2500 for home ang garage use. Wery weak and impossible use even 2,5mm electrodes. I think , need change coils. Price was 175 euro.

      Sorry to hear, Ato. I haven't used the 2500 but it might be too small for 2,5 mm electrodes as you say.
