I took Joel’s advice. I found a Bible based church and have been attending Sunday sermon and Bible study since January. Best decision I’ve ever made in my life. I’m getting baptized this Sunday.

Please pray for me. My heart is in despair. God said, “Whenever two or more are gathered together in his name, he will be there in our midst”. I have two beautiful boys both are autistic. My husband passed away years ago. I lost my job over declining the vaccine. LIKE MANY OTHERS! I declined due to my pre existing health conditions lupus and heart disease. I’ve been struggling to provide for myself and my children since losing my job as a social worker from Forsyth hospital. I’m now waitressing, and I’m thankful, but I’m not making nearly enough to get by. Gas and groceries are super expensive. Already rent is due again. Every month is a battle to not end up on the streets with my two boys. I’m constantly in fear of losing my home. But even as I face homelessness seemingly every month. I have faith, God will provide, in Jesus’s name.
Dear , as Joel always say , don’t loose hope knowing nothing is impossible with GOD , my heart & prayers go to you & please keep in mind there’s a great reason for whatever LORD give us , just be patient , pray a lot , keep GOD first place & keep thanking him foer all you have , doesn’t matter good or not so good , ask him to increase your strength & courage & bless you with his LOVE & LIGHTS , & maybe you need to listen to this Joel’s message again …

I am certainly stronger than I think, I write this comment on this day, certainly unemployed, I sleep on the floor, I lost my job, my status, lost cars and property.... Yet trust me, the God living in me, is paving my way to greatness and a beautiful life. I am stronger than all I am facing, greater the fall, great is my victory.

My wife's mother passed away in May of this year, after planning the funeral at the funeral home we drove back to our home, on the way home she said I don't know if I have the strength to get through this. I recited Philippians 4:13 to her and told her that God gave her the strength, but it was in the form of her four daughters, her family, her friends and me. A few days later at the funeral, she got up to say a few words and wanted me to be next to her for support. After she was done, she sat down, but I stayed at the podium; I'm not one for public speaking, but I told everyone that had gathered there about what she had said and what I said back to her. I then told them that if they needed the strength, they only needed to look to the person next to them, and to friends and family, and that would be God's way of getting through not only the loss, but through any tough time that life has to throw at them.
First I am truly sorry for your families loss. I sort of understand what you are trying to say but I think you may of contradicted yourself a little.
You basically ministered to a group and recited:
"Philippians 4:13
*I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."*
Then you proceed to say "I then told them that if they needed the strength, they *only needed to look to the person next to them, and to friends and family,* and that would be God's way of getting through not only the loss, but through any tough time that life has to throw at them."
That is not looking to Christ first.
"Matthew 6:33 KJV
*But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."*
I'm not a pastor either or a biblical scholar but maybe a better way to put it would be to focus on Jesus and he will give you what you need to make it through. *"Luke 12:24 - Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?"*
I just feel like someone new in Christ or on the fence might take what you said as just looking to family and friends first. Not to mention some people don't have such support. I would hate to mislead someone with something so important.

Weird Short, thank you for your response. Like I said, my speech was a spur of the moment thing; it's probably the first time since high school that I stood in front of a group of people, and that was almost 35 years ago. The message I was trying to say is that God was providing her strength through her family; and with her family's love and support, she would have the strength that God had given her to get the loss of her mother.

Thank you for the reminder to not live by your emotions. I lost my sister to suicide over 30 years ago and now my cousin who was my closest friend. I'm blessed to have had them in my life. He has NEVER left me without a roof over my head and food in my stomach, even if it wasn't necessarily my ideal roof or food choice. Today I am beyond humbled and grateful from the depths of my soul for the unconditional love that God has shown me throughout my entire life. I just wanna shout THANK YOU GOD from the rooftops so the whole world will know of His greatness and love. He's ALWAYS had my back, even when I wasn't aware of it, and He has protected me through all of the deepest, darkest trenches and experiences that I've had to go through.. Praise God for letting me discover a stronger me. Earlier when I lost my Dad and felt overwhelmed with circumstances of the burial. Going a couple of times to check on him at the morgue and so forth... Something I never imagined I could do and many other things. Finally I've been able to lay him to rest peacefully. I am going through the toughest battle of illness I’ve ever faced. By accident this came on my ph I was looking at something else, & this popped up! Amen! Facing struggles everyday. Everyone has battles some worth fighting some that aren't. Stay strong no matter your situation. Make someone smile no matter what your going through. What's already breaking can't be broken. You can change anything. Nothing is permanent. Tempory problems, and struggles turn into permanent success. Always look at the brighter side of things. If your still breathing you still have a purpose. Let your imagination run wild and always have faith
My girlfriend and I are in a rocky relationship currently with our daughter being born at the end of the month. God give me strength to get through this . Amen
Remember that this a time that usually has unique stress and anxiety. The mother often needs great patience and support from the father. You can do this. You are equipped by God to do it. Stay the course. Know that it will get better. It is worth it. Ask for help from family and friends. Having a baby is like having to drive an uncomfortable U Haul truck with no air conditioning across the country with a moody passenger that can’t drive a truck. Packing to move is never fun. Just prior to the birth and the first 6 weeks are the hardest time (in my opinion as a mother) but it is also uniquely magical and it gets SO much easier after that. You will both fall in love with the baby. God will make the rocky path smooth.

The way you handle this situation will show your girlfriend just what you’re made of. Step up to the plate; suck it up for a while, treat her as if she was “a guest in your home”. Show her that you appreciate her, just thank her and tell her how good that dinner was.. I guess I’m saying “ Just be nice “. If God took her tomorrow, how would you feel? Thank you for the message it really made me understand that God will not give what I can't handle, am a mother of 3 boys separated with the father am stronger now and I am making it through Christ who strengthen me, I used to cry and say God this burden is to heavy and He will make a way I even forget, Thank you Joel with all the motivation it has changed my thinking and prayers 🙏 life.

God has ALWAYS loved you unconditionally and always will.. He was still with you, even when you turned away from Him, because He will NEVER give up on you.. He believes in you, even when you don't believe in yourself OR Him, because He knows that He created you to be great beyond measure.. He forgives and accepts you, even when you're hurting and angry at Him, because He understands how hard it is to be human.. He sends His Angels to watch over and protect you, even when you feel like the entire world is attacking and hurting you, because He knows that He chose you to fulfill your unique life purpose that can't be filled by any other except you.. And He is using me to remind you of all of those things, even though you might disregard it, because He wants you to remember how precious and magnificent you are to Him.. He meets you wherever you are, whenever you're ready and will always answer your questions if you're willing to listen.. when you become determined to build a closer, deeper and more intimate relationship with God, you will experience things that are indescribable and miraculous, as He starts to show you His presence and hand in your life.. I can attest to this from firsthand experience, despite having lived a life full of enormous challenges, difficulties and setbacks.. Because of that, I've discovered just how strong God has made me and how deeply I am loved by my Divine Creator.. STAY BLESSED NOT STRESSED 😊❤❤😊

Joel preaches an amazing message of self actualizing strength. He is truly a great motivational speaker. However, know that it is through the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed (Lam. 3:22). I strongly suggest detaching from Joel Osteen and churches like this that distort the true Gospel into something so alien. In this video he talks about Gideon and how the Lord told Gideon that “He is stronger than he thinks”. Joel uses the story to show how we are like Gideon because Gideon thought he was weak but was strong the whole time. However, that story in the Bible is solely evidence of God’s strength. The 300 men did not defeat the Midianites because they were unknowingly strong all along. The story of Gideon is NOT a story of realizing great personal strength and qualities. At the end of the story the Israelites tell Gideon, “Rule over us, both you and your son, and your grandson also; for you have delivered us from the hand of Midian. But Gideon said to them, I will not rule over you, nor shall my son rule over you; the Lord shall rule over you.” (Judges 8:22-23). The message that Joel preaches is nowhere to be found in the Bible.
I have been listening to your services and messages these last 3 weeks, and it has completely changed the tone of my entire life! The first service I prayed with you God reached into my heart and healed the grief from my fathers death I had been carrying for 15 years. I didnt realize how far my faith had fallen since my childhood and rediscovering Jesus has reawakened my love of everything! My prayers are so full of gratitude now and my mind is at peace. This message is just what my family needs right now. I was given an actual message a few months ago when my brother passed away while I was walking home from duck pond across the street "You are Home". Now I ask God to prove it because my husband needs work and I have also been searching for clients. I don't like what we have been feeling and we are trying to stay strong!
