  • A question that many of you ask me, are flight attendants in the middle east allowed to wear braces?
    I started recently my invisalign journey, and I hope in the end it's all gonna be worth it. If you live in UAE, you should definetly check out Bella Medical Center, it's the place I'm having my treatment with, so far a great experience. Thankful for this colab. Cheers.

    It's quite a challenge! In a year I have to start Invisalign, since accidentally a dentist drilled to a part of my jaw over a year ago and I lost an implant and still not healed that area and due to x-rays it tells that my jaw isn't prepared for it yet. Great thing, that you had the chance of getting the treatment, we all know that dentists are expensive everywhere, so any collaboration or sponsorship it's more than welcome 😁 I hope that you're adapting well to use the braces. Hope everything is going well for you. Take care and have a great weekend too 😁

    Thank you so so much for this video it's super helpful for the aspiring cabin crew look and image/style guidelines! You are teaching many people to become the greatest and best version of themselves even if not cabin crew. Keep flying and travel safe. Take care, looking forward to a new roster reveal video
    edit: oh and the invisalign is simply the best because you can remove wherever you're working and on duty inside the plane. While if you have the fixed braces you still cannot remove but i guess that's ok if you're at work with EY and they're transparent... I have not applied yet, but I will in 5 years time for a Middle eastern/Gulf carrier soon, and i don't wear braces so i really don't have that problem. but when i was 10/11/12 i wore the fixed braces (albeit transparent) and my teeth are very good now, perfectly aligned and clean and tidy/white so i don't need to wear them anymore and i got them removed years ago see you never again braces lol

    A friend of mine recently has attended an Emirates Open Day and few people were immediately asked to leave just because they were wearing braces 😅

      i wonder why these people waste their time going! there a few things that the company ask for in the open day it take 2 minutes to look it up in the website! I constantly see people not reaching the mínimum height thinking they can go and no one will notice!

    I went to a interview last year for Emirates,i had/still have braces and one girl too, she was sent home on the first round,i end up in the last 10 people.
    Funny is the recruiter did not notice it until she had to take pictures of my face, and just told me straight i have to remove them if i get selected to join them, wasn't the case, i got a negative mail 2 days later.
    I got a promise from my orthodontist this september will be my last month, after 20 months ,but is a promise might get a couple more months maybe.After that I m free to go at interviews again.

      @@AlexanderGeorge so, unlike THAT Virgin tv ad then... how is your airline for diversity?

    • @milantehrandubai
      @milantehrandubai ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@were-all-human9427 Etihad is actually one of the best companies, they don't this have diversity bull sh*t and trans people working for them! Men are men and women are women. There is a separate woman's uniform and men's uniform, women are encouraged but not required to wear a skirts. Anyway, they have gender binary uniforms which is great as there are only 2 genders. And yes, men cannot wear any make up, that's an absolute no-no!

    • @milantehrandubai
      @milantehrandubai ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No make up, absolutely not for men! They want to keep it conservative and professional/cool look and style & image, as they should. They are an amazing company.

    • @milantehrandubai
      @milantehrandubai ปีที่แล้ว +2

      oh btw they're strict on scars as well, it's recommended that you have smooth and clear skin, no visible scars on your face and none visible when you're in uniform, but it's fine if they cannot see them and they're not exposed (although you cannot cover them in foundation so keep that in mind)...

    Hi Alex can you talk about things that are not explict in the website, like scars! they always mention tattoos and piercings! in the "official" records they don't mention much else! I saw someone saying that they check for scars in Etihad right after they check the height! I saw a guy that works for emirates saying that depends on the color of the scar and the texture! I have a scar on my army, And I wonder if getting laser to improve the texture a good investiment! the scar is less than 3cm! but I'm scared that I will just waste my time going to the open day! by the way I love your channel, you are super talent as a youtuber!
