What the news not covering Bill abd Steve Snapper jones had a bond on NBC calling NBA games. With NBA goibg back to the NBA it should be a tribute for them.
R.I.P Bill Walton thank you for all the quotes. throwing it down big Man. Always a great Listen. Condolences to Luke Walton , Richard Jefferson and the rest of the Walton Family and Friends.
@@Beeman2892 Because the lady didn’t include Luke in her condolences to the Family. No Luke and RJ are like best friends so you’re friends Dad is like an Uncle . Luke & RJ they went to college Arizona together and maybe high-school friends or AAU teammates.I remember Richard Jefferson always telling stories on old podcast/tv about Big Daddy Bill . Imitating Bill’s voice while telling the story about advice Bill would give them. Nba life,Women, and other topics. lol he was telling stories about how they be at Luke’s house and there would always be people over like a party. There’s other stories I remember but can’t share them on this day.
Walton is always going to be remembered as one of the best centers in NBA history and a man who had so much joy for basketball. As a Celtic fan we will always remember Bill as a member of our family. Rest In Peace.
Shocked and saddened to hear this news. Loved watching Bill play and listen to his broadcasts over the years. He was such a free spirit and loved life. I watched all his games with Boston and many of his PAC 12 broadcasts. He was always entertaining. Gone way too soon.
Working for Pac-12 Network for years, got to see Bill behind the scenes and he was every bit that guy off camera as he was on. He loved basketball and loved sharing that enthusiasm with others. What a legend and a great man

Horrible News. A day after the last pure pac 12 sporting event Bill passes. What a great man who didn't take like so serious and had a lot of fun. The late night pac 12 games were must see tv when Dave and Bill were on. The internet would blow up late at night with what they were doing. An 8 clap for the great Bill Walton.
OUTSTANDING: The Conference Of Champions. Glad he never got to see UCLA in the Big 10. What is the last great Pac-12 sporting event?? I know the softball tournament is going on now
Pregame was so funny with Bill. He had a real character, uniquely diverse from the dullness of today's commentators and reporters. A man unafraid to show his real self. Rest in peace.
Lifetime Portlander. His enthusiasm ans sarcasim were un matched. Unique. Champion. Made other's lives better. That is his legacy. I wondered how he would accept the ending of the Conference of Champions. He is definately hanging out with Jerry Garcia, Ron Mckernan, Bret Mydland, John Barlow, Robert Hunter, Keith Godchaux, Maurice Lucas, Jerome Kersey, Bill Schonley and so many more. Will miss his "color" commentary immensly.
Go Blazers 😢 (I was a Blazers Megafan before I was a Jordan and Bulls bandwagon fan) and Go Celtics (if you know you know smhlmao and the Tix could win the ring this season); Farewell Billy 😭😭😭🙏🏾

He was a great player and after retiring, he became a commentator with an overflowing love for basketball. R.I.P.
Rip William Theodore Walton lll, you will be missed
Bill Walton & Steve Snapper Jones, that duo were a joy to listen call the game. Great memories.......great banter.
I say Bill Walton & Marv Albert. I love those two and such a classic duo on the headset.
Devastated. Bill was one of the most beautiful human beings to walk the planet.

My favorite basketball player, but he was more than that. He’s one of out great Americans. Loved him!
He was one of the greatest centers of all time. Bill Walton lived his life to the fullest. R.I.P.
A media person not afraid to tell it as he saw it. Very refreshing point of view.
Bill Walton's spirit will never die.
