how is it not easy to properly get his name right? Marshmello dude. not Marshmallow, not Marshmellow, god dammit lol but yeah you're right, this is some fire sauce
I dont produce this kind of music but I always love learning new things and taking notes so that I can try when I have the time of course and have gear! But now I enjoy studying from the masters! Marshmello the goat for sharing his craft!
Im a house producer but love watching tutorials on all kinds of production, i wasn’t a huge Marshmello fan before this video (nothing against marshmello, its just not my kind if music) but i am now. Respect to you for not being a gatekeeper and showing people EXACTLY how you make sounds and process them. Too many people are very vague about their process. I commend you bro, big ups
This is pure gold! Thank you for the insights on your creative process. This is going really prove useful in my future works. I love Ableton, and think its a really awesome DAW. Please do keep these videos coming, and keep on keeping it Mello!!!
This is awesome to see marshmello breakdown one of his songs. As a long time fan, and I don't know what you'd call it, but I guess inspired person? (I was mostly inspired by marshmello, and my friend when I started making music) it's really cool to see, and compare how our work flow is, and see how much marshmello has evolved his style
I’m in the middle of mixing my first album, it’s been great but, I’m at the last stage and the doubt is creeping in. It was reassuring and encouraging watching your video, I learnt a few things. Thank you !
It was very interesting to hear you take us through your workflow; breaking everything down, the experiments, and just talking through the logic/thought process of how everything came about. Thanks for sharing this 👍
Holy shit Marshmello my favourite DJ of all time teaching us how to produce? Wasn't expecting this, was going to learn from Jay Eskar that has this type of videos, now I think this is the best time to start making my own music, holy shit thanks. I am going to start, was thinking of it for a while⚡️
You did fantastic man, I learned quite a bit about your process. Like you were saying at the end of the video, about sharing your secret sauce. If it can help one person at the end of the day, I think it makes it worth it. I personally appreciate it as a person that self is taught and learning on the go. I am curious about your groups, and how you go about sidechaining . I would love to see that in the next video, not sure if you use things like trigger midi, or if it’s audio reactivity, but definitely looking forward to the next video. I had amazing moments in my life at your shows and also looking forward to the next one
Wasn’t expecting a mello walkthrough! Hope to see more!! By the way, Simplicity is my favorite way of producing, so thank you for sharing this. It takes the pressure off😅
It freezes the tracks entire midi and fx chain , thereby freezing their usage of cpu. The track is now just the audio result of the entire chain. Low tax on cpu bro. You cant change anything without unfreezing it
The speed was good for this. Not too crazy or in-depth for someone who's been producing for a couple of years. I know it might be harder to remember (and you were doing this throughout) but the things that are most interesting/important to me are the "what I was thinking when I did x" stuff. Happy holidays man.
Thank you so much for showing Transit, dope to see you using it!
He is soo good he promotes free
Hi Andrew, never expected to see you, or myself here. You and Rob are the kings of music TH-cam.
Andrew bro I remember watching you in elementary school
im so happy he decided to share his process with us 🙂

marshmello releasing a breakdown video certainly wasnt in my 2024 prediction list
marshmello releasing a breakdown vod before GTA6 lol

He released an entire course showing step by step how to produce "Alone" & "Summer" yourself, back in 2016.
@@konstantinosd didnt knew that
I always forget most famous people are regular people at the end of day thank you for sharing this marshmallow.

how is it not easy to properly get his name right? Marshmello dude. not Marshmallow, not Marshmellow, god dammit lol

I dont produce this kind of music but I always love learning new things and taking notes so that I can try when I have the time of course and have gear! But now I enjoy studying from the masters! Marshmello the goat for sharing his craft!
Please keeping going with these videos, I’m an artist and I’m wanting to get into the producers area but it’s def something I’m not confident in 😭🤣
Fr especially making EDM
It's difficult but stick to tutorials from accomplished artists and you will go far. Even if you don't understand everything they are getting at yet
