    A fascinating film, not just for the many varieties of tram in use, but for the views it provides of civilian life on the streets of communist East Germany.

    Boy these trams sure are slow - - but it still beats walking in a country where the cars(Trabis) were crap, with a ten year waiting list

      They weren't that slow actually. Those models could easily do 70 km/h (45 mph).

      That shaking movement is from the bad state of the street not from the driver having suffered from Parkinson's Disease for some 20 odd years.
