- Family immigration is also called family reunification.Those who apply for family immigration are usually the spouse, cohabitant or child of someone who lives in Norway. Other types of family members who may apply are parents who have children in Norway, those who are going to marry someone in Norway (fiancées/fiancés), foster children and full siblings.
Norway’s immigration rules offer a specific residence permit available for family members of someone who already holds a residence permit. This is known as family immigration.
The Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI) has all the official information. You should verify what applies to your own circumstances on their website, as there are too many exceptions and conditions to cover every single on in this video.

Okay, so my wife is from Kenya, and we are soon going to apply for family reunion so she and her daughters can come to Norway and live with me. As we go through all this I am left with a headache and major nerves. Is there a way I can talk to you directly? Eventually if not with me, but with my wife by chance? :)

Hi Kui. Yo creo que te encontre porque Dios me va ayudar atraves de ti. Estoy tratando de aplicar por reunificacion familiar, pero yo cometi un error, lleve la aplicacion impresa el dia de la cita y no me la aceptaron y perdi la tarifa que pague para la cita. Yo no la envie por correo ni electronicamente a VSF. Yo tengo que aplicar desde fuera de Noruega , pero no se exactamente como hacer el proceso, que debo hacer primero?: Debo enviar por Email a VFS global la aplicacion or a otro sitio? . Por favor digame si aparte de la tarifa de la cita para llevar los documentos, tambien debo pagar por el permiso de residencia si lo aprueban (pues yo encontre que eran 10.500 coronas. Debo pagala aunque no lo apruebeny como (donde puedo encontrar la forma como debo pagarlo / la pagina a donde debo pagarla?). Por favor ayudame!
