I'm impressed with the stats, the aero work, and the cooling. The ZR1 has always been expensive and I expect this will be as well. However, for what it is I believe there's no way it wouldn't be expensive. I'm looking forward to you getting one and putting it through it's paces at various tracks.
So many of us thought that they wouldn't turbocharge the flatplane crank for the ZR1 and we were wrong.

This thing is going to crack off some insane lap times. It will be the best supercar bargain on the planet. So glad they went zero electric!!!
I’m a little concerned about turbo back pressure muffling that wonderful flat plane crank sound, but the videos I’ve seen of the ZR-1 so far seem to indicate that it sounds almost as good
I also would like to point out that the new ZR1 is up there with the likes of the Aston Martin Valkyrie in terms of power. Of course, the Valkyrie would absolutely destroy the ZR1 given that it's literally the pinnacle definition of a race car for the road right now. But the fact that it has 1,064 horsepower and is RWD is absolutely insane. I suspect the price to be roughly around $190,000 min to maybe $215,000 max. That's obviously still expensive, but when you compare it to the prices of rivals, it's either really competitive with the GT3 RS or the soon-to-be GT2 RS most likely.
But it's still a bargain when you have it next to a Ferrari SF90/SF90XX and Lamborghini Revuelto, which have at least 1,000 horsepower as well, and those cars use electric motors to achieve their 1,000 horsepower while the ZR1 can achieve it with no hybridization whatsoever. Chevy is putting this engine through its paces in its LT7 form and that's amazing. It'll be interesting to compare the Corvette ZR1 with the SF90/SF90XX and Revuelto.
I just imagine the engineers laughing as we guessed at the spec's of the C8 ZR1 before it was revealed. Is it time to start speculating on the Zora yet?

This has 1 more horsepower than the Mercedes AMG One and that car is a million dollars with a Formula 1 engine in it. This is basically the LT6, so the C8.R/Z06 GT3.R engine and aero, S-Ducts, big wing of the racecars.
i think gt3 cars are limited to 500hp so this car has twice that.
Yeah, this is essentially the C8.R/Z06 GT3.R engine with giant turbos and strengthened components to handle that insane 20 PSI of boost. The fact that both the Z06, and now the ZR1 have literal race engines inside of them is absolutely insane.
One correction: you CAN get the aero without the ztk package

With that power AWD would have been much better being RWD its going to be traction limited. Surprising that GM did not went with Active Aero that big downforce its going to slow down in the straights. The other issue with this variants it also that they are getting heavier almost a 2 ton car.

For five years GM should run the Corvette then take it off the market and run the Trans at, then take both off the market and run the Camaro. After the Camaro l; come back ten years later with a new Corvette. And continue the cycle every ten years for each vehicle.

Should have been four wheel drive with this level of hp- the tires will spin like crazy - interior should have been upgraded - and that silly divider should have been removed. And not enough difference in the body - again not that much different than the standard c8 -/ my cybertruck - cyberbeast could be nearly fast . My money is on the Tesla roadster - after experiencing the genius design inside and out and in terms of feature in my cyberbeast. Putting down $50,000 - GM just guaranteed my 1,500 hp in the Tesla Roadster! And the roadster will have four seats seats as well!
