Does anybody else enjoy the sound and feeling of a click type torque wrench when the set torque is achieved? I could watch a whole video of Devin torquing stuff. ASMR 😌
I loved my 03 evo 8 I sold it when i needed, but i Never had to rebuild it. Had a basic stage one. But i notice that so many engine builders ignore or skip over the balancing shaft in the engine. DO not ignore that, it is what allows the engine to rev so hi and keep the balance and counteract the vibrations that can damage the motor. They allow the engine to rev in the red without damaging the motor, MItsu put those there for a reason, since the engine is not a perfect 1.5 to 1 bore to stroke ration, the engine creates a bit more vibration, and that balancing shaft counter acts that. However if you can't get back into the engine, use one of those gel sealed harmonic balancer pully. I suggest people do both.
Try using a heat gun to warm up the stuff you wanna paint, I've noticed I get a better coat and look hy doing that. I'll spray one coat heat it up quick pass by then hit with the paint and gives a nice clean look. Just something to try

a little tip to save on some time and effort, leave bolts in their respective holes so you don't have to re-tap and clean them out after
Have you turned the balance shaft bearings? Because if not you will lose your oil pressure
I noticed that in the last video they were definitely not blocking the oil galleries rip
