During your visit to Jasper, I had expected to see extensive forest fire damage from the fast-moving wildfires that destroyed about one-third of the town's structures and forced thousands of residents to flee the town earlier this summer (July 2024). I can't say I was disappointed because what you featured in your coverage of Jasper (and other areas) whet my appetite to visit the region.
