I absolutely love that game 2! I love seeing cannons sneak in range of hatcheries before the creep can stop them. Then the Void Rays afterwards to finish them off were just chef's kiss!

I've always liked the idea but grandmaster for some reason doesn't exist in teamgames :(

The first game your opponent's username is Yamikaze, a famous League of Legends streamer. Didn't know he also played Starcraft, or maybe it's just a fan?
While it's not the most common name, yamikaze (dark wind) is used alot by edgelords, and is an anime character (sword art online iirc) which may or may not have been the streamers motivation as he does watch anime iirc. I doubt it is him though based on the sheer salt of the other series.
@@dunningkrugerfxs5848 Yamikaze is known for being extremely salty though, he doesn't (didn't) show it in his YT vids, but he was extremely toxic when he was streaming live. That's ultimately why he quit league.

I prefer to block the ramp, then gates and a robo to counter faster. Keep blocking the Zerg in 2 bases, and you keep making units until the Zerg money is gone.

i learned a long time ago when cannon rushing, to send two probes. one will distract and pretend to scout, maybe block a vespine with extractor, while the other one is a secret agent, working in the shadows to destroy the enemy who is unaware cuz they're not scouting more than one

Dear Mark, I am really sorry, but this is a standard cannon rush against Zerg :D
With gate first and so on..
Not, a pylon and another cannon on top denies a gas and the ramp, slowing ravager counter up even more, and makes it hard to sneak a drone out.
Marc's was more of a soft contain, not killing the probe, or at least putting a drone on it to keep tabs was a fatal mistake for the Zerg.
Ah the cannon rush. I was cannon rushed once...

Cannon rushin in sc2 is like walkin up to a chess board in the park, knocking it over, and getting a victory screen.
What starcraft 2 needs is a full blown factions implementation.
Dehaka, nova, kerrigan, etc..Not just the lame old protoss, zerg, terran.
And of course these factions to have their individual traits, as from the arcade games.
Now THAT would be amazing.
Impossible to balance right imo, but yeah, that would be fun as hell...

I dont see much pro play here, this is the typical below gold cannon rush+DT/void ray cheese that every dirty protoss does, except that they dont have a follow up if it fails.
