    Push and hold the button under the LED and it becomes a super bright white LED flash light too.

    Wow, that is nice. Still wish I could have scored an APX, but it probably would have broken the bank. By the way Dan, my Xts is still serving me well. Excellent buy!

    dang over priced radios, the firefighters here use them ;). I just still will use my 3k until I upgrade or cannot fix it any more. Did an name change just fyi

      I know KCMO public safety use them due to grant funds. They're great, amazing units, but the prices just need to come down to a viable reality.

      They will not, unless some other company can make an project cheaper and closer to it. Its funny the KCPD using harris radios and the Public works use xts 2500

      KCTech Personally, I hope Kenwood and Harris BURY Motorola over the APX line of pricing.
