Portman spent years distancing herself from the MCU and even refused to be in Endgame. As soon as she realises how popular Marvel has become she wants back in. One of the reasons Thor has become one of the best characters is because they ditched the love interest angle. I trust Taika but honestly I’m not loving what i’ve heard so far.
I think Valkyrie should be the new thor. Maybe that’s what there gonna do like Jane foster weilds mjolnir and becomes evil and then Valkyrie teams with thor and beats her then she becomes the female thor

I assume Feige will discuss Phase 5 in detail at D23.
At least as much as they know so far. Since at this point they probably don't have all of the director and lead actors signed up yet. So not sure how much detail they can go into yet since they might have the basic storylines set for phase 5 I doubt the scripts are completed yet.
I really don't want them to make the F4 young with the exception of Johnny Storm, cause I'd like to see Peter Parker and Johnny become friends like they did in the source material. Throw in Bobby Drake as well if we're also going to take inspiration from the Ultimate Universe. The F4 need to be adults, mid-early 40's. Approach Reed, Sue and Ben like Faverau did for Downey Jr., and older and more seasoned characters as opposed to youthful adults. In my dream scenario, I'd cast Patrick Wilson as Reed, Charlize Theron as Sue, Dwayne Johnson as Ben, Logan Lerman as Johnny and Daniel Craig as Doom.

I would much rather prefer a continuation of the franchise, with snipes blade succumbing to his blood thirst because he has developed an annuity the syrum. Ali ends up having to kill snipes and then takes over as the blade.

The Lord of the Rings were PG and they showed decapitations and blood. Orc blood, yes, but they didn't shy away from the violence. So, if you're clever, you can make Blade PG 13 and make it cool.

Anyway, my point is, if you're clever, then there is a way to make Blade PG-13 and to make it cool. Just because it has vampires and it's violent, it doesn't mean that it has to be R rated. I think R rated would be better, but if they have to go down the PG-13 route, then they could still make it work.

@@eshan4093 I just know the comics and the first 2 movies are definitely targeted towards adults which when I saw it as a kid it made it even better. If they take the blood out they will take cursing out and at that point it's just another vampire movie. It's why I'm worried about Disney having control of Deadpool. That's just my opinion though.

My idea for the concept of fantastic 4 chacaters
Sue storm: somewhat emo girl who hates her appearance and wants to just be “invisible” to the world who finds solace in Reed.
Reed Richards: a smart humble man who’s prepared to stretch for his family and do what he needs to take care of himself and sue.
Johnnny storm: a hothead snarky peter parker type, quippy and always jumping to the occasion when sometimes hes in the wrong for his firey attitude.
Ben Grimm: a closed off man who has a manly gruff hard exterior personality but is soft and sweet on the inside, would tear down anywall in the way of his love or his family.
That’s my fantastic four group.

If Blade isn't rated R or MA then I do think that'll hurt the movie. Most people are excited about blade because it's blade! Blood, gore, vampires, if you cancel that out it'll be a flop!!

I want a great F4 movie so bad. I'm just kind of worried that tyey won't commit to portraying a loving family. Sie Storm is an awesome and powerful character, but she is a woman who wants to be a mother and puts family first. "Certain people" would flip out if there was a loving, family-focused woman leading a movie. As for Reed Richards, Hollywood can't seem to do competant fathers and nerds well. Reed is socially oblivious at times, but he's brilliant and incredibly competant. The trend seems to be to crap on fathers, to make them either incompetant and stupid like Homer Simpson/Peter Griffin, a complete scumbag or out of the picture altogether. Given that some people seem to think 007 ever did anything with women worth getting the "MeToo" treatment (which he hasn't), I can imagine that they also probably won't portray Human Torch as the rogue-ish lady's man with a heart of gold, the guy who flirts with and dates a lot of women, but shows his true colors when he truly cares for someone and will lay it all on the line as a hero in spite of his more care free nature. I don't doubt they'd do the Thing well, but the others play into certain concepts, character archetypes and themes that aren't exactly PC anymore. While I certainly love them for who and what they are, Marvel Studios seems more concerned lately with getting favorable press. Fantastic Four works because they're a close-knit, loving family who just so happen to go on crazy sci-fi adventures and save the world/universe together from sci-fi bad guys. If Marvel Studios embraces the F4 for who and what they are as characters and as a family, I have no doubt they'll be loved by the average audience member, but they have to be willing to against a few PC trends in entertainment to do that. The family dynamic just doesn't work and loses the magic when you dramatically change who they are in relation to one another. Honestly, The Incredibles is the best existing template for how to do a great F4 movie. They're the best Fantastic Four movies Fox never made.
How is Jane Porter going to become Lady Thor, when she has had nothing to do with these movies since Thor: The Dark World? In Thor: Ragnarok, Thor writes her off in front of Loki, like he doesn't care about her at all. Valkyrie could be the one to make her in to Lady Thor, and then maybe those two will get together; who knows.
Well... it's something that has happened in the comics. Hell, she's even become Valkyrie. And she's still a character Thor hasn't "written off", given his reactions to even the slightest mentions of her in both "Ragnarok" and "Endgame"

There’s a possibility that Phase 4 is only 2 years & Phase 5 starts in 2022 & that will include all the movies we expected to be in Phase 4, like Black Panther 2, Captain Marvel 2, etc. Feige said Phase 4 is pretty set. Now what would be awesome is if at D23 they just go ahead & announce Phase 5 since they reportedly already have that set as well
Hello, Star Wars? Queen Amidala in her throne room and addressing The Senate on Coruscant is some of the most bad azz scenes Portman has ever had. And, I loved Jane Foster as a character from Thor through Thor: The Dark World. Her absence very much hobbled Ragnarok, IMO.
I'm the same with Kristian, love Natalie Portman on screen but she's probably the opposite of charismatic especially compared to Chris Hemsworth, but I trust taika to make something that I love because he hasn't done anything else yet. He and Denis are easily my favorite directors.

phase 4 looks like a transition phase in which they experiment with the interaction between disney + shows and the follow up movie (f.e. the story- and characterconnection from wandavision to doctor strange). furthermore marvel studios need time to develop an official concept how to integrate f4 and x-men. and btw dear collider crew, sorry to say: one hour research into the marvel panel and a lot of 'speculations' you did would not have come up and made you look clueless.

If you took Roxy out of this show.. you would still have great show. if you took out kristian, the dynamic would change drastically. why is roxy there at this point? all she does is derail the conversation and asks questions no one is interested in. You can see Kristian trying to deal with a friend in a professional setting
