      if it does not work then the reasons are: too hot or too cold iron. better if it is too cold because it will give you chance to fix it. Overheated iron could damage the plastic.

      yes it should work with any plastic material. For small holes in airbed, i would use a drop of glue. Even a glue gun would work.

    Tried this and it works great.
    Some things to add :
    1. Align the tear properly or overlap them and wrap them up with foil as per vid.
    2. Set max temp on your clothes iron.
    3. Press your hot iron and hold your weight on it for about 1min 30 sec.
    4. Wallahh. Its plastic welded again!.
    5. Let it cooldown on its own for it to return to its normal thickness

    • @RUS_US
      @RUS_US  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      set iron for max temp and hold for 1 minute? What kind of plastic did you weld like this? How thick was it? A thin plastic should boil at such treatment. Glad if it worked for you but for others i would recommend to start from min temperature and increase it gradually to find the moment when plastic will start melt.

    • @farhandahari6284
      @farhandahari6284 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RUS_US how long exactly to find the moment where the plastic weld together?

    • @RUS_US
      @RUS_US  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@farhandahari6284 it is similar to metal melting. At certain temperature it melts and can stay melted as long as you need. What i worry is that it can start burn. The heat devices has different power. Your advise to put max power could damage but not weld. You will find several comments under the video when people fail to weld and burn their plastic.

    • @RUS_US
      @RUS_US  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      the foil is metal (aluminum). the foil balloons should be foil glued to plastic. I did not try it but it should work too. I sure this is how the foil balloons were created (by heat)

    • @RUS_US
