  • Salmon aquaculture is the fastest-growing food production system in the world, expecting to reach 4.9 million tons by 2025. A huge undertaking to make Chile’s salmon industry environmentally friendly marks an important leap forward in the world’s attempt to feed its growing population with a sustainable food supply.

with any farm raised fish, compare to the wild caught ones, I look at water quality and type of feed they're raised on.

The Future World will not be able to sustain 10+ billion people without fish farming, or green farming for that matter.
We have to learn from these people how to make the process sustainable!

Nah, murdering animals is barbaric and morally unjustifiable because they are not objects, properties, commodities or machines, but sentient beings, conscious creatures and political subject of rights. Yes, I am talking about fish and every other sentient species, they have feelings and emotional rich lives, they are conscious / self-aware, they have autonomy and cannot consent. Using non-human animals outdated and is deeply arrogant and ignorant to think that we have any right to take away their lives as if they were resources. They have rights we must respect, and as long as humanity keep ignoring Animal Rights / Liberation we will never progress, neither evolve, but heading towards extinction. Human supremacy / anthropocentrism is the cancer of society.
Plants and mushrooms are the real solution.

Sustainable offshore salmon farming isn’t possible, this is one of the most environmentally catastrophic industries out there and is lacking regulation. They admit as much in this film by highlighting two serious issues for which there are no solutions right now. It needs to be stopped. And in the meantime, if you care in any way for the marine environment the don’t eat farmed fish

Do not eat animals at all. They are not objects, properties, commodities or machines, but sentient, conscious creatures who value their life. Veganism is a moral obligation.

The government of Qatar should stop inciting hatred and contempt for homosexuals. It is not enough to allow the rainbow flag to be raised in stadiums. Rather, they should abolish the prison sentence for homosexuals. If the authorities do not respond, FIFA must transfer the competition to Britain, where all the infrastructure is ready and respect the rights of homosexuals and transgender people.
