Hi David Boyd Your the 2nd subscriber to say something about my little trailer....It sure works for me and the H5 and the UC. And God bless you as well PS sorry it took so long to answer
Hi Jason Webb Thank you for saying the kind words. Would love to talk if we get the chance.Wow and Im a true blessing. I will leave that up to God!!! But thanks. Sorry it took so long to answer you
@@redblackvette WOW, that's it?!?! I just bought a band saw and some sorting containers (they look like little plastic suitcases) from Harbor Freight today. I have almost all of the hardware on order from Aircraft Spruce, and most of the metal for the airframe and some of the hand tools needed at the start of the build that I don't already have. Bought some wood from Lowe's and going to try and get the wood jig together this weekend so I can start making the bulk heads. I have next week off from work, so I'm going to try and get some work started on my H5. EXCITED!!! Blessing
Hi Dennis! Your videos are awesome! your passion for flying is infectious. I'm building a BK 1.3 and your H5 project is a good motivator. Take Care!. Any chance you could review the H5 flight characteristics for us? Is it pitch sensitive? stable? ground handling etc.?
Hi Jean Poutine Why thank you so much for your great comment!!! That is what Im trying to do.....great its working! I think call the controls are well balanced and ground handling is great to because of the wide gear. Sorry it took me so long to get an answer to you
Hey, I’m looking into building an airplane as well, how much do you estimate the entirety of the build to be. Money is definitely a constraint so a cheap build is best. Thanks!
Hi @@timlewis5007 Thank you for another question! I scratched built both of mine from plans. Which is cost saving in itself. But both are available as kits or if you call Terry at Hummel Aviation he will work with you in about anyway you want to do it. He is a great guy.....for that matter all the people at Hummel are great!! I don't know if you know about the Hummel Gathering coming on October 10 2020? I need to make a video saying about that. I just may do that next. Hope that answers your questions
Hi Jean Poutine. Sorry it took so long to answer you. My TH-cam thing has been messed up And I have not been getting messages. As far as ground handling it is great with the wide gear!!! And I'm not sure about the pitch sensitivity as I just not jogging the stick around in pitch... But I might say it seems fine and the ailerons are great also. I hope this helps you
Dennis Brooks thanks for getting back to me, sounds like a fun process. Did it take you very long to build the airplanes? I’m sure it feels accomplishing to build your own airplane!
@@redblackvette That would be awesome! I don't get out that way very often - maybe once every few years. If you guys ever head to Ohio you've got a friend here! You could practically land in my back yard! Chris Baldwin - Graham River Productions on FB. Would love to talk with you more!
Hi@@GrahamRiverProductio well Im guessing you may not know that Hummel Aviation is in Ohio? Its he Bryan Ohio which is in the north west corner. As a matter of fact I just got off the phone with the owner Terry. So if you can get up that way you would be welcomed...... But here to
Hi Joel A. No.... mine is QT. For quick trip. But good catch on your part and thank you so much for subscribing. If you have any more questions please ask. Oh I'm in the Kansas City area
Hi Donald Anderson not sure what you mean sir. There is no mufflers! The right side has what is known as a heat muff. It is there to get heat from the exhaust to send to the carburetor when you pull the carb heat know. But as far as muffler goes there is none.
I like the minimalist trailer. Take care and God Bless.

There's no requirement to have logbook signed off every 90 days to fly.
Hi Kellypoor well sir as a student pilot you do have too. But I sold the H5 so I don't have to worry about that anymore.
Why is there 2 different mufflers

Redneck ruminations - tiresome
Hi Tony French thank you sir!! I'm so sorry you were forced to watch my video!!!
