no, please let them keep talking about it. rbs suck this year in ff. the further he drops the better. would love to be able to grab him in the 4th/5th rather than 2nd/3rd.
I'll take Gibbs and Montgomery, the offense can sustain both of these guys. We're talking about a top 3 offense here, an aggressive HC who leads the league in 4th down attempts, which means more opportunities. This backfield mirrors Kamara and Ingram 2018, but the potential is even better. Kamara finished top 3 Rb PPR with a shared backfield with Ingram. Gibbs has more potential then that in this offense, and I'm willing to run the risk with that even if Montgomery gets some redzone carries.
"You know, Kyren Williams is going to be our punt returner, and it's another opportunity for him to get touches and impact the game. And you feel comfortable with that because of the confidence in Blake Corum and Ronnie Rivers, um, you know, being able to spell him *IF NEED BE*." Most people take that as: "He'll return punts, but we'll make sure to take some touches away from him in the running game because we have dudes." But you have it wrong. The most important words in that quote from McVay (exact to the letter what he said in the clip in this video): "IF NEED BE". McVay's takes on Kyren Williams have him now as my RB1 (also because of the 49ers' dysfunction and that almost no RBs ever repeat as No. 1 in fantasy). I believe the only thing that can stop Williams from dominating even more than last season is the Lions D in Week 1 😏, him getting injured enough to affect his entire season, Stafford getting injured or half the OL going out for an extended time. Mark it down. McVay isn't going to remove touches from him because he returns punts. He's being *more risky* and telling us he wants this guy involved as much as humanly possible, like he did with Gurley. He trusts the other guys to make it work if Kyren does happen to go down, but Kyren is getting FED. Mark it DOWN. (EDIT: I'm a Lions fan, not a Rams fan. Not at all a rabid Williams fan just piping off. What I see: Objective reality and understanding how McVay works and talks, MARK IT DOWN.)
The funny thing is. People are not worried about Gibbs, who is playing with a proven vet in Montgomery, but the sky is falling over Kyren playing with a 2nd day drafted rookie.🤭
Question regarding bpa vs. positional need. I have 3 top 5 picks in a 1QB ppr dynasty league. With the 5th pick I will likely have to decide between Brock Bowers or Jonathan Brooks. I have a great need at rb while Bowers is considered a "generational talent" what do I do? Team QB: Jordan Love, Baker Mayfield, Derek Carr RB: Jahmyr Gibbs, Tyler Allgeier, Roschon Johnson, Kendre Miller, Ty Chandler, Evan Hull, AJ Dillon WR: Puka Nacua, Brandon Aiyuk, D.J. Moore, Khalil Shakir, Rashid Shaheed, Michael Wilson, Curtis Samuel, A.T. Perry TE: T.J. Hockenson, David Njoku, Greg Dulcich, Chigoziem Okonkwo
Why can’t Rashaad White get the benefit of the doubt running behind that trash line last year. That’s why he wasn’t efficient running the ball. If the line improved then it should be highly beneficial for him.
In a 10 team Full PPR league. Blake Corum,Tyler Allgeier & Ty Chandler still available. Should I consider dropping Trey Benson for any of those RB’s? If so which one would y’all recommend? Starting RB’s are Henry,Pacheco & Montgomery.
Dalvin Cook did nothing with the Jets and the Ravens. Averaging 3.2 yards per carry. Less than Elliott last year with the lousy Patriots. He's also older than Elliott. LOL.
36:00 titans secondary unit is completely different than last year. They might struggle to get to .500 but after getting sneed, Cheeto, quandre diggs, and Jamaal adams their perimeter is their strength
I actually think it's a good think for Brooks to start the season on the PUP list. Now he doesn't need to feel rushed to get back, they're taking their time and not forcing it. He should be ready to rock for week 5. He's been falling in fantasy drafts and I've been taking him alot more recently because of the discount

K Fairbain All in all I like the depth but should I upgrade my TE spot, someone wants to trade Kincaid for Achane…??? Help me! Lol
The talk that people have around Kupp is so disrespectful. Yall talked like this about CMC and last year I got him at the end of round 1 and he got me a chip. I am getting Kupp in the 3rd or 4th and another chip on deck.
I still love devante adams. I will take him over a guy like Achane any day of the week. Guaranteed 150+ targets and 8 td.. that’s a low end. Achane is in a committee and they just drafted another talented back. Also has injury risk. Don’t understand the hesitation on adams. Didn’t seem to slow down at all last year.
Dalvin Cook just means the cowboys recognize they are thin at RB. It hurts Royce Freeman more than Zeke or Dowdle who is obviously the upside pick but Zeke will be on the field in a similar way that Bill used him last year. Zeke is no longer a quality back but he’s the only one on that team we know can handle the workload.
Sean McVay is trying to get Kyren cheaper in his fantasy drafts. EDIT: You can't compare WRs returning punts to a workhorse RB who gets 2.5-3 times more touches returning punts.
My league gives 6pts per td for individual ST players. Would you trade Etienne for Kyren? I might have to throw someone in the offer but does anyone think I can pull off a 1 for 1 and is it even worth it?
Hold on. McVay has been gushing about corum since otas. He sat with the starters in off season games. Corum gonna be bigger then people are downplaying.
Who will finish better in fantasy for 2024, Nabers or Flowers? Nabers is on a bad team with a bad QB, but should get volume playing from behind most weeks. Flowers is on a team that likes to run, play defense, but will most likely the 1st or 2nd receiving option in that offense.
How is nobody talking about CMC and his calf injury ????? I would rather pick Lamb or Bijan at 1.1 . CMCs injury will linger all year mark my words I’m not getting burned
I don’t think the Kyren punt return thing is a death rattle. It could be a smoke screen it could be minor but it makes me feel between that and the back ups I think he doesn’t have the insane volume that made him a stud last season. That being said I have 0 Kyren this season.
But are these players doing anything with these punt return touches or are they just wasting their energy before they touch the ball on offense, where they actually produce points. Long punt return to the 2 yard line. 0 points, now he's gassed out. Only to get subbed out to a different RB for the TD.
