You are sooo sweet ! In the first few seconds "I will wait until tomorrow..." I told myself no way she will resist the 24th call !!! This made the end funny ;-) Also, probably intentional, but the green butter is salted in case you didn't know. This all made me want to bake cookies ! This will be on the program for this Sunday !
This is a funny way to choose butter. You made me laugh here ! I actually postponed the cookies. I just remembered Epiphany is this week. So it's Galette season ! You definitely need to get one with Pat !
Hi Katie, thanks for sharing your experience. I also moved to Paris in August this year. Mostly have been enjoying my time here. I still face some struggles adjusting with weather and my French is very bad. Hope you start feeling comfortable here soon. One thing I do which is bit clichéd but whenever I feel alone or anxious in Paris, I force myself to go to River Seine and look at Eiffel tower at night. It kind of works as reminder for me to be grateful for my journey. :)
Of course !! I loveee your idea of going to the Seine - going on walks and taking in my surroundings have definitely been nice little reminders of how amazing it is to be in Paris. I hope you’ve also been able to continue coping with the struggles of living in Paris ❤️
You are so sweet. Saying that you missed your mom…I felt that 100% This Christmas was my first Christmas without my mom. I video called her too but, it definitely wasn’t the same. I hope you can be with your family next year ❤️
Thank you Joseline ! ugh, it's SO hard to be away, I 1000% feel for you. I hope you can be with your fam next year too ! (and then maybe we can do a Hap's reunion lolol)
I avoided talking to my family too. It was the first time everyone was together since 2019 and I was the only one that wasn't there. Which is a choice that I actively made by moving to france... But it still sucks.
Baking cookies made me feel way more Christmas-y and connected to my family - do you have any holiday traditions ?!
