I remember this one. Back in high school, we used to say, "Bung-bung!" because of Eekamouse. All the surfers were pot smokers and also went to reggae shows. We saw Eekamouse at a small venue in San Juan called "The Coach House". One pretty lady gave Eekamouse a single long-stemmed rose. He started singing, "She game me a ro-ose. She love me, I su-pose, bang bang!" He was one of the most original performers I've ever seen. Very talented and entertaining!
My great gramparents were really poor and made lots of moonshine to pay for food for a defunct logging camps. The cops let them slide. My cousin has a black and white picture to prove it!
@@inaki.arambarri He probably meant cap on the guy who was commenting he related to that specific bar/verse and not the artist but I might have over analyzed the whole thing because I'm high as a rasta just vibing to the song lol
a lot of artist craft they style from eek a mouse, he would do his reggae style scant but it was on beat when he flowed, when nyou look at yellow man , supa cat just to mention a few. you hear eek a mouse influence in their style. Nuff respect to my cousin car who passed away this month. he would play these old tunes on cassette tapes back home in the islands. Now i am older living in the states I remember all of the Friday evenings listening to tunes and sometimes trying to flow on the instrumentals on the back of the 45's records . My neighbor had turn tables, he still has them to this day. Respect to the classics and to my cousin Carl aka Big Murph rest in peace . I will miss you iyah , be safe in heaven.
Ganja mon, that's it. Pulled over by the police and there's so much smoke they get high after a 2 second contact and say off the record,"You guys need to really cut back."

You know when you listen to a song, there is always a personal story connected to it right? Can i share mine with you guys? This story is from around 2001/2003(my boomer brain cant remember the exact year) So i live in the Netherlands, and growing weed is illegal af, but we have shops all over the place. So the weed just gets beamed down from the heavens or something, idk, who cares, if i can buy it its great, right? ..anyway, I lived in a town just across the border from Belgium and we surely had Coffeeshops(places we sell weed to adults in NL), but i wasnt 18 yet. So the only way for us to get our hands on some weed was via Friends, growing it in our garden, marrocan dealers or these random ass Cafe's we had all over the place. You had to know someone for the first time to be able to buy some weed in those bars, but once youve been there once, they would just remember your face(not important at all). But there was this 1 Cafe, and when you entered, there was 24/7 Reggae bangers on the speakers, especcialy Eek a Mouse. So this one day when i came in, THIS god damn banger was playing right. So i get to the bar give a sign to the shady dude in the back and we do the thing. The moment i put this marroccan hasj in my pocket the god damn Police comes walking in. I was like 16 or 17. I walk towards the exit, look back and thank the barman that he let me "use the toilet", with "Bongbong bidibongbong bidibembem bideminabagoing", in the background. They didnt even care i was there. So 3 days later, i go there and the whole place is closed. I was litteraly the last person to buy something from them, because from the moment i left that place they raided it. So now, whenever i hear this song, i am in that moment of time in my memory and its fucking great! I discovered the name of this banger after all this happend, and the thing that stuck most with me is how this was titled "Ganja Smuggling" Anyway, hope you enjoyed my little story. Have a nice day, Peace from the Netherlands!
