Do you really think BYU is the second best team in the country tho? Do you think they’d beat Georgia on a neutral field? I don’t. BYU has the feel of a team of destiny. 9 times out of 10, when the clock strikes midnight, Cinderella has to go home. BYU is 8-0, Miami is 9-0. BYU’s SoS is #41 and Miami is #54, based on Sagarin ratings. Id put BYU ahead of Indiana (#81 SoS), but not the Hurricanes. Oregon’s SoS is #39 and they have two wins over current Top-12 teams. I suspect BYU would likely lose to Texas and Ohio State on neutral fields. But I can’t put that into ‘proof’ based on BYU’s unblemished record and SoS. So, I’d put BYU #4 and I think that’s pretty generous. I think they would lose in the first round to any SEC or B1G team that’s in the CFP, except that if they do gp 13-0 then they’d get a first round bye. Then I think they would lose in that round, provided they don’t play Boise State. I do think for BYU to make it to the CFP, they’ll need to be 13-0. I think them going 12-0, then losing in the Big XII championship *might* be enough, depending on what SMU does, but I’m increasingly having my doubts. I think B1G and SEC will each get 4 teams, leaving ND, ACC champ, Big XII champ and lower conference champ as the other 4. Do I think BYU can win their next 5 games. Yes. Will they? I have my doubts. But if they were the true #2 team, there should be no doubts.
@mrp4242 BYU ain't losing in the Big 12 Championship game after curb stomping KSU 38-9 but they might lose to Arizona State in the regular season (that's the one game they have the best chance of slipping up in). Also your logic about BYU being behind Miami makes no sense considering you just stated their strength of schedule is better than Miami's. Also with the way Carson Beck has been playing, yes I'd say they'd beat Georgia on a neutral site. It took Florida having a 3rd string QB for Georgia to beat an unranked Florida who was decimated by injuries on a neutral site. Also the first round of the playoffs are hosted by the higher seed and as a Conference Champion BYU wouldn't even have to play in the first round but if they somehow don't win the Big 12 (which I highly doubt) they'll be ranked ahead of every 2 loss SEC team who they'd host at their own stadium (unless they end up hosting Boise State, Indiana, or the loser of the ACC Championship game or maybe Penn State if things playout for them to get in).
Anyone who has Miami above Indiana doesn’t know ball. Indiana is the best eye test team in the country. Miami has no good wins like Indiana but they’re struggling. Big 10 showing out this season while the SEC dresses up as the Pac-12 for Halloween

My rankings are WILD this week! For those who dont know, I've been doing my own college football rankings for a few years. All computer based. I have changed my rankings since the last update. It's gotten more complicated. I rank all 134 FBS teams based on 4 values: Win Percentage, Strength of Schedule, Game Value, and Margin of Victory. Win Percentage: Wins/Games Played Strength of Schedule: is ⅔Opponents WP, ⅓Opponents Opponents WP Margin of Victory is: Points For-Points Against/Games Played Game Value is best described as how well a team is beating their opponents, compared to how the opponents of the same team. After all is said and done, I'll weigh each value: Win% = 55% SOS = 25% GV = 15% MOV = 5% THEN, I do a Head To Head. Which ensures that if a team beats another team, close enough in ranking, won't be ranked below then. There may be teams that lost to other teams and still be ranked below them. It is because the team that won was too far behind to make some ground. FINALLY, I come up with a Loss Value and a Win Value. For an explanation, click the replies. Comments are getting slow.
Loss Value takes a teams losses, and takes the rank of the team that beat them, compares it to 134 (the lowest possible rank), and gives a score. Win Value is the same thing, just compared to 1 (the highest possible rank). I subtract the Loss Value and add the Win value from the team score, and get a final score and rank NOW! My top 30 after Week 10 1 Oregon 2 Indiana 3 Ohio State 4 Miami (FL) 5 Texas 6 BYU 7 Boise State 8 SMU 9 Alabama 10 Army 11 Georgia 12 Penn State 13 Iowa State 14 Pitt 15 Washington State 16 Ole Miss 17 Texas A&M 18 Louisville 19 Notre Dame 20 Tennessee 21 Clemson 22 Tulane 23 LSU 24 Louisiana 25 Missouri 26 Colorado 27 Kansas State 28 South Carolina 29 UNLV 30 Iowa

@@mrp4242 who cares what you think? BYU has the second best resume of anyone in the country. Doesn’t matter what you think in hypotheticals
Miami should be top 4 I think they could be top 4
Texas beats Boise State, Iowa State, SMU by 30 easy
Anyone who has Miami above Indiana doesn’t know ball. Indiana is the best eye test team in the country. Miami has no good wins like Indiana but they’re struggling. Big 10 showing out this season while the SEC dresses up as the Pac-12 for Halloween
@@RadicallyOptimistic Miami will have a ranked win on Tuesday, Indiana will have none and a SOS outside the top 100
Miami will lose one of their next 3 games. Cristo-ball never fails
Texas would MOP miami
How do I feel like a 2 loss Alabama is better than penn state and should be in the top 10 maybe 5
I feel like those teams should meet in the playoffs
This is THE MOST inaccurate rankings I’ve EVER SEEN
I disliked nd unsubbed ppl like u make me SO mad bc u thinking 10 teams nd stuff r good when they haven’t played ANYONE
Win Percentage: Wins/Games Played
Strength of Schedule: is ⅔Opponents WP, ⅓Opponents Opponents WP
Margin of Victory is: Points For-Points Against/Games Played
Game Value is best described as how well a team is beating their opponents, compared to how the opponents of the same team.
After all is said and done, I'll weigh each value:
Win% = 55%
SOS = 25%
GV = 15%
MOV = 5%
THEN, I do a Head To Head.
I subtract the Loss Value and add the Win value from the team score, and get a final score and rank

I only got two issues Clemson shouldn’t be top 25 and k state should be over Colorado H2H at Colorado.
Too many teams playing trash G5 competition.
Oregon the best unbeaten lol where. They struggle it Boise n Idaho. Indian looks better.
SMU lose close n ACC championship they still should get in.
Big10 n SEC college politics still reigns supreme
Oregon struggled 8 weeks ago and dominated since. Indiana has yet to play a ranked team and were in week 11.
@calebleeson5662 Ohio state wasn't a dominate win.
@@samuelconwrightii4532 ohio st is better than any team indiana played
