There have been worse times with stronger people.
During MY teenage years, Vietnam war lottery (these men were teens). Go to war, or leave this country (forever) . Teenagers today wouldn't have to make these decisions. I DO NOT want to hear about any whiney boring kid who cannot keep himself amused during this time. Perhaps if he/she had no one to feed them, they may have to figure to how to go and get food. Grocery store perhaps ? Mamas money ?

Even worse, where I live they recycle every other week!! I'm drowning in cans and bottles!!
@@SandraWade666 I put deposit-returnable cans/bottles beside the recyclable containers and the street-people collectors take them to cash them in. At 10 cents apiece, it adds up for these people and ensures these materials go to recycling instead of garbage dump sites.
i never remember that either. i agree with someone outthere that through this hole year there was a misery but I have realised how many people do amazing things, how skillfull thye are,how many good things they have been doing for years.i live on a coast in very sleepy town. life is outthere and lots of positive good people doing positive good things.

@@MrsEJV I'm 61, live alone in NH, had spinal surgery in Dec, spent 2 wks in hospital, 2 wks in in-patient rehab, missed my grandson's b'day, Christmas, New Yrs, my son's b'day & Easter. Had in home therapy for 1 mo. Then the flu hit & quarantine started. I feel very alone. But, you're not alone. I'm right there with you. Best wishes to you. Hang in there. 🌞🌻🌼🌸❤
13crystalsister I don’t mean to pry but if you don’t mind my asking, where did you have your surgery? I had four spinal surgeries in N.H. I’m living in DE right now. It was for a year - more like three. Hate to leave those grandchildren! But I go back to NH for most of my medical care which is largely my back. Otherwise, healthy as a hog. I prefer to say “I’m not sick, I’m mechanically challenged”.
@@MrsEJV I'm in Dover, NH. Had several surgeries in NH, but I was taken by ambulance from home to Wentworth Douglass hosp in Dover, then to MA GEN, in Boston. I had to go there to have MRI, due to an implanted spinal cord stimulator. I'm very thankful for that because as you know, MA GENERAL is 1 of the top 2 hospitals in the country, if not the world. The reason I had the spine surgery is that I had a tumor growing between my spinal cord stimulator & my spinal cord, severely compressing my spinal cord. I was unable to move my left leg, among other problems. My surgeon was brilliant!! He wasn't sure I'd be able to walk, but I am walking, thanks to him. I don't classify myself as sick either. I'm healthy as a horse, all of my issues are skeletal/nerve issues. Where have you had your surgery? I had my 1st spinal surgery at Lakes Region Hosp. in Laconia (I wouldn't send my worst enemy there), & then at Portsmouth Regional. No back related surgery in Dover. I also broke my right arm one month before my spine surgery. ( of course, I'm right handed). That injury kept me home alone for Thanksgiving. It's been a great 6 months! But I can walk again!☺
I want to spread the word about what happened w tumor/stimulator in case someone is having the same issues & they don't know why. How are you doing since your surgeries? Are you better? Will you get better? I do hope you're in better health than you were before your surgery/surgeries!

Many people try satire but few do it well. You're one of the few, and comic relief is really needed right now. Thanks. (I got to see Foreigner live this past summer, and I also saw them right after their first album was released. They toured with Heart during the Little Queen tour. I'm old.)

I also look at the concert tickets I bought for the summer (Miranda Lambert, Doobie Bros 50th anniversary, Monkees, etc.) and wonder if and when they will ever happen. Most have been officially "postponed" but I'll be surprised if they actually happen even on the dates they've been rescheduled to.)

I write parodies myself (some on the crude side just bc that's just other side sense of humor haha) but you have a lot of good ideas and I like how your songs flow lyrically.
I wrote threemyself. One parody of "Elvira" by The Oak Ridge Boys another for "Our House" by Madness and the third is "Schools Out" by Alice Cooper.
I may do a few hair band parodies too. But thanks for then laughs and parody ideas. You and your family do a great job! Thanks for the inspiration bro! Have a good and well talk again soon. I live in north Georgia btw.

My daughter’s team is working from home and they assign a virus related theme each day. They each have to match a song to go with the theme. First day was “quarantine” (example- 🎼Can’t Touch This), next day “restaurant” ( 🎼 I hear you knocking, but you can’t come in). They’ve had a lot of fun with it.
When it comes time for a raise, or promotion, play the video "I'm doing the best I can"!

Literally my post from just now:I have been “retired” for over two years.
Not once have I got up in the morning and not known what day it is.
Until today.
Today-Friday, as it turns out-felt like Saturday.
And WAS Saturday (I even crossed off Friday on the calendar) until I read the paper.
It took me all the way to the TV lineup-which said FRIDAY in big bold print-to then turn to Doug and say, “It’s Saturday, right? Because the paper has yesterday’s TV guide thing.”
Nooooooooooo--it’s Friday. Just in case anyone else needs to know. 😳😬🙄🤪

This is kinda common for us home schoolers even without the quarantine.
I have tears in my eyes from laughing so hard... laughs of recognition. Yes!!! This is my life right now. I've been home for 4 weeks, and I found myself trying to figure out yesterday when was the last time I washed my hair (it tends to correlate with my increasingly-less-frequent trips to the supermarket). I am working but lost track of the days. Now I mark them by Zoom meetings. Cheers from the Philly burbs. Be well!

I always worry that I will be kicked out for sneezing to much. The odd conversation of who has a cough and who isn't here. Tracy Craft Are you able to buy a mask that people are making? That’s how we got ours. I haven’t been out but twice, since March 13. My adult daughter and I share a cc get anything I need, but we cannot go anywhere; grocery, pharmacy, etc. in my state, without wearing a mask.
