29:24 My favorite "first 10 minutes" of any movie in many, many years. I was completely transported and wanted to see more of what life was like, living in the bleak shadow of WY. Fantastically insightful video, and certainly one I will be revisiting many times. This will make a great companion piece to the Blu-ray commentary, I know Fede puts a lot of thought and care into his Blu-ray extras, and that holds true for all of his films.
Great interview, some genuine honesty about the challenges. I noticed - as a fan - the issue with the xenomorph mutation, it makes sense as a ticking clock. A p/u line somewhere about them being an experimental breed might've been throwaway but could've helped, perhaps, for the hardcore. I can't see it being an issue for most though (realistically outside of some internet folk, who is going to notice) so probably sensible to keep things smooth on the story front. I genuinely enjoyed the first 40 minutes or so, it was immaculately crafted - sadly I didn't get on with some of the story and referential decisions from then on. Any sequel, would be nice if it could shape a more distinct, individual identity.

I came here just to see if you got the original production mixer's name. Shoutout to Derrick Leather!! xD
It wasn't bad at all , just not an instant classic.. Like the 1st 2 were.
