    one the best djs nowadays, he has a unique sound and atmosphere like eric prydz , both are coming and growing more and more in new level in electronic music, and i'm glad that more people are knowing and enjoying such a real GOOD MUSIC like this.

      Can you imagine having Eric Prydz on this show? I've always been interested in his seamless mixing style, so it'd be so cool to have a vantage point like this. I'm glad they got Jeremy Olander on this show, though. He's amazing. No wonder he got on board with Pryda Friends.

      in almost every other comment i see "eric prydz"

      Luka Sikl He's a member of the Pryda label, which is operated by Eric Prydz. He opened for him when Eric did the EPIC 3.0 show last year too. That's what they were talking about when they mentioned Jeremy just did Madison Square Garden.

    I'm so Pavlonian conditioned due to this very set here 😂😂😅

    This is quality progressive house. I like his style. His mixing is very patient, deliberate, controlled, well mannered, and methodical. He doesn't go all crazy with effects and excessive spinning of the dials (which some DJs do as showmanship). His mixing is a long fade in/fade out without slamming. Maybe for a 1 hour mixing show, he might have sped up the pace a bit more. I saw him for the first time by chance in Vancouver last year with Fehrplay... I'm more of a prog guy so liked him more but the duo is an interesting one... one is pure prog house and the other goes with uplifting trance. Thankfully, no horrible EDM.

      Most all the songs are Techno you should have described this as showing a lesson of mixing techno and progressive house. It can really confuse those out there, but You have to respect Jeremy and Eric prydz (also deadmau5) Some of the only big names who trully play progressive house, People need to stop calling EDM progressive house

    What's funny to me is, you have DJs performing pre-planned sets such as this one and they get all this hype (as mentioned below "Best DJ going right now"). I think the @DJsounds Show should have some lesser known DJs on to show the world there is talent that don't play MSG but can do far better than this.

    • @paulelderson934
      @paulelderson934 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +LennyAob Well if you're using a digital mixing tool, you really don't need anything. Actually, you don't ever really NEED anything other than a crossfader. But if you have the talent and the creativity why not try to get elements of three or four tracks together?

  • @Aever310
    @Aever310 9 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    He can mix but it's too boring for my taste. I can picture myself getting bored of this on the dance floor. This kind of reminds me when I seen Eric Prydz LIVE on New Years Eve, it was repetitive and it felt like never transitioned to a new track and it felt like I was dancing to the same song for an hour.

    • @sabutai1985
      @sabutai1985 9 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      I apologise on their behalf. I dont think they knew you wanted 30 songs to play in less than a minute. Maybe stay at home and never come out?

    • @Aever310
      @Aever310 9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Sabutai Haider It's not that they take so long to transition it's just the track selection isn't up to my taste in music. Just gets boring after a while.

      Aever310 Maybe you should rephrase that as....isn't my taste. Not up to my taste. Cuz obviously if you think Prydz isn't Quality, you shouldn't be criticizing anything.

    Well, he's lively. Bored after 10-15mins skipped to 40 mins not much better . not my cup of tea. He is about as lively as a Rock and it comes through in the mix, but if we all liked the same stuff the world would be boring.

    • @OvechkinCCM
      @OvechkinCCM 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not insulting but I'm curious as to know what artists you find "lively"? I thought this set was great and I'm just wondering who you listen to to make you feel otherwise.

    • @duckmysong
      @duckmysong 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      TheHybrid Im saying he looks like a robot - he has no energy and doesn't look like hes enjoying what hes doing. Theres plenty of artists out there that i do listen to - but he aint one of em. Take the dj marky set or any carl cox set on this channel - and you can see they love what they do, music oozes from them.

      Think it would be a bit weird if he is jumping in the studio all by himself. I dont think how much you move while you DJ is what determines if you love music or not.

    • @duckmysong

      why would it be weird? most people who dj at home or in public jump around and enjoy what theyre doing.
