I recommend having a 4 Wheel Drive vehicle to access this trailhead.

thank you! Yes Zion is like a desert and gets hot in the spring and summer months. We were lucky to visit after snowfall in early March. :)

Hello my friends, very beautiful place. It is sad that the access to the trail is not car friendly. Thanks for sharing. Take Care and Keep Exploring The Outdoors.
yep, it is a bummer that the trail is tough to access, but it makes the trail less crowded so it's awesome for anyone that can rent a 4WD vehicle!
The view at the end of the trail is amazing and it was fun to see the little animal (squirrel?) in front of the valley and mountains:) Trips like this to nature gives you a good feeling for sure:)

Love Mt. Zion National Park! Always great to see! Probably more enjoyable in warmer, drier weather?
I think most people prefer to visit in late Spring when temperatures are not too hot but not too cold. We will probably come back to this park in the summer since we have visited in early and late spring in the past.
