Onew is pronounced like Oh-New in English or On-New if you pronounce it with a Korean accent. Onew sounds like the pronunciation of the Korean characters that mean soft or gentle. Onew has a very soft, gentle and even personality, so that is why SM gave JinKi the stage name Onew. Onew is actually 4 years older than Taemin.
No Minho is not part of the makena line. Minho is the same age as Key and is 2 years older than Taemin. Taemin is the only member in the makena line.
Early in his career when Taemin was growing up in SHINee he was known for his feminine look. The industry thought it was novel and cute to play up his feminine features. Being recognized for his delicate image, ended up giving him a real complex about the fact that people never saw him as a masculine man. It took him a long time to accept that he was known for his looks and to come to terms with the fact that everyone thought of him as a "pretty boy," etc. Jonghyun saw and felt the struggle that Taemin was going through and he wanted to give him a way to address the issue and to show the world the Taemin that he knew and loved, so he wrote a song called "Pretty Boy" specifically for Taemin after having a conversation about the fact that Taemin was tired of everyone only talking about his looks. The song is all about how "yes I am a pretty boy, but I am so much more than that," etc. The song was included on his debut solo album in 2014 when he was 21 year old as a way to make a statement that, "I am a man now, and just because I may speak with a soft voice and the way I move isn't extremely masculine, doesn't mean I am not a man. He was questioning why people don't see him for who he really is. Taemin has only just recently started to embrace his androgynous side with his song "Move" in 2017, which I don't think has anything to do with Key. However, just recently Taemin has admitted that because he debuted when he was so young that he has really been shaped by all the members of SHINee. Because his SHINee brothers pretty much raised him, all the members have had a huge influence on who he is today.

Hi, actually Taemin did not really take after Key in his thinking of "masculinity doesn't need a standard". He was actually rather burdened by his feminine looks in his early career, so watching him growing into his androgynous features and not despising it anymore made me as a fan really happy at that time. He was teased for his looks very often and kinda forced to dress up as a girl in sketches many times, which he really hated. I like to think he might have opened up to the members, especially Jonghyun who shared a room with him for the longest time in their dorm, and got the courage to stay above all that and use it for himself rather than be dragged by it

You should be okay with the music videos. 👍 There's also a ton of SHINee live performances that get used for reactions all the time, and I definitely recommend watching a live performance of a song after you've watched its MV. SHINee's great in studio but everyone agrees they're even better live. :) (Just be careful with Japanese songs if you're going to check any of those out - they do get taken down sometimes.)
This guide really is amazing but since SHINee are all workhorses (seriously), it's already outdated hahaha. Some quick updates following the point at which the guide ended:
    - Onew held a nationwide solo tour of Japan to round out 2022 and it was super successful! Every stop sold out and extra stops had to be added. In March 2023, he released his first Korean studio album (after having released two minis previously), with the title track "(O) Circle" getting him his first solo music show win. He also held his first three solo concerts in Korea, followed by three more concerts in Japan. (Unfortunately he's on hiatus from activities right now while dealing with some health issues. You'll see him missing from or showing up in only a limited capacity in HARD promo material because of that.)
    - Minho released his first mini album, Chase. It rounded out the "plagiarism" series of SHINee solo albums: ACE > BASE > FACE > VOICE > CHASE. (They all rhyme in Korean.) He had more acting projects and is currently starting to work on a new drama. Along with that he'll be releasing a single at the end of the year.
    - Key had two more comebacks to round out his retro trilogy that started with "Bad Love" - "Gasoline," and its repackage, "Killer." He also held more Keyland concerts. He's in the middle of a comeback right now for another mini album, "Good & Great."
    - Taemin finished his military service in April 2023! After being discharged, he obviously participated in SHINee's most recent group comeback (HARD) and is now preparing his next mini album and a solo concert that'll take place before the end of the year. He's also booked to attend like... every K-pop event taking place around the world in the following months as a soloist.
There's definitely a lot of old SHINee content (fifteen years of it lol) and even more new stuff coming up. I don't think you'll be bored!
