While I agree there is nothing to be ashamed of with aging naturally, people need to quit shaming someone's choice to have plastic surgery. Victoria has publically spoken of her insecurities and of being in the public eye. I don't think anyone can truly imagine how it would be to have the press taking pictures of you and blowing up your flaws.

As a woman who is about to turn 40, I have immense pressure to look young because that's what all my friends and their friends and their friends etc etc (basically everyone) is fkg copying the celebrities and getting shit done. I would say that kind of thing is not done out of striving for happiness, but it's done out of fear of looking bad. In other words, insecurity. When someone does something motivated by fear or insecurity, it usually makes that fear and insecurity come true, because that fear is what they are focused on.

It’s not ok to comment negatively on someone’s appearance even if they’ve had plastic surgery. Women are under intense pressure to look a certain way and are even threatened they’ll lose their jobs or careers if they don’t. Maybe do something productive to uplift women in the workforce if someone’s plastic surgery upsets you, rather than bullying people on the internet for how they look.

I would suspect that Victoria is far above reading or listening to such things. I came here because I like her, and she speaks well, and is interesting. A lot of the comments are terrible - but feeding into them by finger wagging is just fuel. I understand you weren't intending to admonish and finger wag, that is how it comes across in comments.
