Just finishing up 1 website today(professional) for a youtuber that has over 210 videos out. So far it looks good and is an unusual subject so not much competition. This is for a portfolio. It passes the tests and loads in under 3 seconds. Offers services. Nothing as advanced as yours but grateful to be in Income School for the motivation and the courses!
I'm in phase two, getting keyword research, search analysis and competition research. I've got my niche, and I'm raring to go. This'll be my third site (two failed, lack of time and effort, I went down the content writer route and got too busy writing for other sites, killing my own) but 18 months later, I'm at the stage where I want this for myself, not for someone else. Written your steps down in my shiny new notebook to follow the right process, and can't wait to get going. As a side note, I've watched thousands of TH-cam videos on content creation/blogging/etc, and after three years of immersing myself in this type of content, Income School is one of only two brands that I trust implicitly. Massive thanks to you Ricky, and it's a perfect example of building authority through offering superb content for free that makes people trust you and the brand name. I can't stress enough how trustworthy I find Income School, it's the only video I'll watch every time.
What was the other, just curious, I've just about decided to go with Income School but want to know if I missed a good one during my research
With regards to creating a bunch of back-links to your site to help build authority, would there be an opportunity in operating a couple or even a few sites that are super niche but interact with one another's industry, and feature content from one another's sites to self-create those back-links and build that sense of authority?

My two-cents. I did P-24 for two years, not quite at a full-time income but still moving forward with my blogs and TH-cam. What I wish I did sooner. TH-cam - I procrastinated with YT for a long time but now Im immersed I can see where I have traffic going back and forth between blogs and TH-cam. I also very much wish I had started info products earlier. Especially good for those that choose a niche they are knowledgeable in. I choose to start doing books and courses and it's doing better than ads. I will never do ads early on again.

I am so grateful to have him! We are a team. We've had a lot of twists and turns on this path of life, but there is no one I'd rather travel it with than Ricky! Seriously you guys, he reads to our five children every night before bed (We recently finished the Hobbit and are now onto Fablehaven) and then sings them a song. Sometimes he makes up the song himself. This week my daughter came up with lyrics for a bedtime song. He composed a melody and set it to simple chords they can both play together on the ukulele. They have been practicing it each night and are going to perform it at a church activity on Saturday. ❤

This works, guys. It's a lot of hard work, but it works. My website is almost 11 months old, and I have 60,000 monthly pageviews. I also have a TH-cam Channel that is 5 months old (more or less), with almost 10k subscribers.
I don't know how much the website will make because I'm switching ad provider (I just joined Mediavine today!). But probably around $1,200 a month. And my TH-cam channel is around $1,100 (ads + sponsors).

One of the BEST videos I'VE SEEN providing real value and the scope of what's involved in considering the blogging path. One thing I may have missed...I'm choosing to blog BECAUSE I LOVE TO WRITE and I've been told I'm a great writer. I just never knew how to monetize it years ago and so I'm looking at it as I launch my new website and updated business.

Moving forward bloggers will really need to focus on creating a personal brand. Experimenting with AI, it's quite remarkable how it can spit out fairly good articles that more than answer search queries. I came to the point where it made no sense to spend hours writing articles when AI does it in seconds, and communicates the information, if not better than I can
In my opinion, people will still value blogs that go deep diving into a subject. A.I. is surface level output and good for those who don't have much expertise in a subject yet because they're starting out.

The ones who don't have experience & expertise are as limited as A.I. and both aren't going to maintain sustainable income long-term.
Chatgpt can't give you an opinion, product review, or generate anything but data based results PRIOR to 2021. Therefore, it doesn't know it's own limitations. Which is dangerous to an person uneducated on a subject because it'll give "facts" very confidently and you would take it as fact and publish the error.
That'll hurt your blog.
For instance, there was a time when you'd ask chatgpt about the Superbowl (Rams vs Bengals) and it eloquently gave stats n "facts"about players.... That weren't even in the game lol.
Ask it to give you info about something you know a lot about and you'll see.
Nonetheless, when real ppl start asking you in-depth questions about your blog post/topic, what would you do?
Nonetheless, Google don't like mass production blogs posts and won't index them.
Use it to generate ideas, articulate your thoughts, but you be the resource.

This video was very good… I really like how you were honest and said this process is not easy and it takes basically a ton of dedication n focus to make this process work -100% correct…depending on where your starting point is ?? blogging and affiliate marketing can take many years to get it right and actually make money but with these new AI tools the entire process has accelerated…there”s so many moving parts to SEO blogging and simply putting it all together ..the challenge is really the fun part -cheers !!

What is the name of the plug-in used for a recipe to have the rating cards shown up on the top of google? I remember you mentioning it in one of your other videos but I can’t remember which video. Also, is that feature able to be used for other items? I am in the cigar niche for example… would I be able to make that show up when someone searches for a specific cigar?
Hi ricky, thanks for the great information. Just one question. Would you write an article on a query which has already one perfect article in SERPs from an established website, so that we may get the second spot on Google? Or you target absoluetly zero competition topics?
If you can add a unique angle or something else helpful that isn't already in the top article then go for it. Earning the second spot is still great.
Worth it. Think about how you search the Internet. Would you open the first, second, maybe even third or fourth result? Very likely. I think it's very worth it to be anywhere on the first page.

This was so very helpful so I thank you for sharing. I am interested in Project 24 and have a couple of questions:
1. Do you have people who will answers questions when you’re working on things in the moment? I was disappointed in the lack of support given when I purchased another course. So, for example, is there a support email to ask questions like “I’m in the ______ niche and this is how I’m understanding your process works specifically with this niche in mind. Is that right?” or something like that. Facebook groups are nice for general questions to get opinions from others but tend to fall short when there are more detailed questions to ask.
2. If someone has already been blogging for a while, is there a roadmap to follow where you can kind of fill in the blanks of things you missed up to this point? Like, where would one start?

I'm in Project 24 because I want to revamp my travel blog. The community is great, but you have to be careful since it can also turn into a distraction. The guys at income school do come into the comments, but there are also many people who are actually doing it and can answer questions.
But just to be clear, this is not a membership course, not a blogging coaching program if that makes sense. So there's a system that you go through and a platform where you can list down your views, income, etc. and tons of additional courses. like email marketing, affiliate marketing, etc.
i hope this answers some of your questions from a standpoint of an actual member.

I've been so close to giving up, so many times over the past 12 months.
2500hours+ into, 40, posts, 4 custom post types with jet engine, a bmi calculator and tarot card generator, amazon + 150 other affiliates across impact, cj and others, but the site is still only getting 18 views a month.
I kind of know what my problem is but I've also really been listening to you guys pretty religiously and going for a much longer term game

Without auditing your site, I can't provide you with detailed answers. However, you might have these problem:
1. Content quality
2. Penalty site
3. Someone spamming you with backlinks (rarely)

I picked a nuclear niche 😂 but I've been working mostly on the Web development of the site, incorporating template systems that can be managed from Googlesheets.
Also playing around with gpt integrations, with uncanny automater
I figure that once the system is in place, it becomes so much easier to post repeatable high quality content that you can tweak with the right keyword research
@@ugewshos9637 If focus on auto-generated content, make sure your content is helpful for humans, not just Google. If I saw your statistics you have 40 posts but only get a few PV/month.
I can make sure you have content quality problems.
Try to read it by yourself, ask yourself, am I want to read this type of content? Is it helpful for me as a reader?
Wow! Great job on all the content. To get eyeballs on what you've already created, try making sure you are answering long-tail noncompetitive keywords. Like for tarot, you could write "Do Tarot Decks Have Personalities?" and "When Should I Get a Tarot Reading?" These are actual searches people are making. You could drive traffic to those articles more easily than what you're doing now and LINK to your current content through those new articles. I wish you the best of luck and hope this was helpful. We give recommendations and specific instructions. The software you need is free. The only real cost is for hosting your welfare and registering a domain name, which totals around $12 per month.

Does it take 24 months to have a full income with your processes also in the case of YMYL blogs?
Realistically it takes much longer than an hour to write a blog post. 4 hours minimum, all done, even with AI. Most of my posts take around 6 hours sometimes more. Thin or pure AI just don't cut it.
Agree - it takes me 4-6 but I do write in-depth often science stuff that can not be reproduced well with AI at this time.
Exactly it takes making images and posting around 1 hour.

Write good content and the backlinks will come naturally. I promise! Good to be aware of backlinks, but don't put too much pressure on yourself. They'll come 🤗
I am a beginner in writing contents with a social media management background. I chose a niche that I am not familiar with hoping that using AI will gonna aid me to write all my articles. I haven't launched our website yet since I am still familiarizing with the website and the world of content writing.
I wrote 5 articles by just using a mix of AI tools and I will tell you, it felt bland, without a soul, and generic. I also have 10 drafts to work on and even those articles felt out of touch. Even when I optimized the prompt with the tone of voice, theme, feeling, and added some references and optimized for keywords, it still felt like it was bland.
I even made my own highly customizable AI article writing prompt generator using excel spreadsheet so i can do quick variations of prompts- finding ways to make the AI produce more engaging articles. The outputs were still bland for my taste. This is why I agree a lot on @35:30 that AI only parse data from already made contents and can't create its own unique contents that is truly engaging. it's a mixture of your own research and data and the AI's ability to convert those information into an article quickly
Let me just and here that this demonstrates MORE your lack of using a proper AI loop than anything. Any pretrained AI cannot incorporate anything new - so prompts iwll not change that. But if you use a BASHR loop and a backend database with information and a RAG based approach, the AI can use additional information. You end up spending 100-200 AI calls for one output, but it will incoporate anything nee the AI has discovered. This is, though - a programming project, not prompting. My company (artelligence.consulting/ is actually working on this for a daily news site. Guess what - AI does not know crap about what goes on - except this way it does.

19:55 You mentioned early on that Google understands what a user's intent is behind a search, but at this time stamp you mention doing keyword research. Google has considered sites an authority beyond ranking for individual keywords, and instead favor sites with topical authority. Doesn't topic clusters trump keyword research?
Yes. I’m using the term “keyword research” just because it’s more commonly understood but I’m talking about search analysis.
It’s still important to create content based on the queries people are actually searching, but then we build clusters around those.

Yep. We have two new sites that we started just this year and about a dozen others.
Is the actual course content getting updated as well?
Yes. Plus we have a podcast and regular masterminds sessions where we can cover the most current topics.

It's something important and essential why you hide it from your viewers!?
We don't address link building because we believe it's the wrong action. Instead of building links to gain authority, you should be doing industry outreach to become a true authority. As you become a true authority, you will get backlinks, and that is great since that is one of the ways Google measures your authority, but backlinks are only a piece of the puzzle and we want to focus on a more wholistic approach to gaining authority. :)
24 months is a ridiculous long time and it can be done so much faster if you’re actually writing good articles.

wait for how long? 6 months? In that time waiting you could have started the site and already made money. So you're saying leave money on the table because something MIGHT happen?
@@heymrcody imagine the scenario, u wrk on for 1-2 yrs, hoping u will make money in the near future, and Google hits you, you lose 1-2 yrs of not making any money. This has happened many times and to many.
@@prateekrastogi6469that's the risk of any business. There's no such thing as a guarantee when you risk your time for money. Blaming a free platform (google) for providing new free services doesn't make sense.
Why wait? You’ll be left behind. It’s better to have some income than none…

It’s sitting passive and earning us money right now.
It’s not uncommon to leave a site for a time, especially when you have more important projects. In fact, leaving a site alone for a while was part of our original process.
