everyone's beat me to the important contexts so here's some fun facts about the fanchants for these songs that i love 🥺🥺 "thanks" is the origin of the "thirteen names in 5 seconds" fanchant just before the song ends, and in "oh my!" when mingyu sings "mianhae" (i'm sorry), carats are supposed to shout "saranghae" (i love you) to drown it out! 😭 you might have noticed that the choreo for "thanks" is different in the mv than in the choreography video; when filming the mv, the choreo hadn't been finalized yet! (this happened again recently with the choreo for "god of music" not being completely finalized by the time they had to go to budapest to film the mv, and so some parts outside the chorus were different)
Thank you for another awesome Seventeen reaction! Thanks is my all time favorite song from them and it always gets me choked up. My dream is to hopefully be able to see it live one day. Just a bit of background for it. The album that it is on is named Director's Cut and is their first "Special" album. The album and mv served as a bit of a way to look into the behind the scenes of Seventeen as a self-made group. It only has 3 b-sides and I truly cannot recommend checking them out enough. Oh My! was the title track for their mini album You Make My Day which goes hand in hand with their next mini album at the start of 2019, You Made My Dawn. Even the physical albums go together and have the same packaging! Together they are referred to together as YMMD. I'm not sure if you were already planning on it but when you get to You Made My Dawn's title track Home I recommend that you also check out the track Getting Closer. It served as an unofficial prerelease of sorts and even has an mv and a dance practice. I don't want to spoil anything but Getting Closer was a huge surprise for Carats at the time both in terms of sound and concept. Thank you guys again for a great video! "thanks" is the origin of the "thirteen names in 5 seconds" fanchant just before the song ends, and in "oh my!" when mingyu sings "mianhae" (i'm sorry), carats are supposed to shout "saranghae" (i love you) to drown it out! 😭
you might have noticed that the choreo for "thanks" is different in the mv than in the choreography video; when filming the mv, the choreo hadn't been finalized yet! (this happened again recently with the choreo for "god of music" not being completely finalized by the time they had to go to budapest to film the mv, and so some parts outside the chorus were different)

Thank you for another awesome Seventeen reaction! Thanks is my all time favorite song from them and it always gets me choked up. My dream is to hopefully be able to see it live one day. Just a bit of background for it. The album that it is on is named Director's Cut and is their first "Special" album. The album and mv served as a bit of a way to look into the behind the scenes of Seventeen as a self-made group. It only has 3 b-sides and I truly cannot recommend checking them out enough.
Oh My! was the title track for their mini album You Make My Day which goes hand in hand with their next mini album at the start of 2019, You Made My Dawn. Even the physical albums go together and have the same packaging! Together they are referred to together as YMMD. I'm not sure if you were already planning on it but when you get to You Made My Dawn's title track Home I recommend that you also check out the track Getting Closer. It served as an unofficial prerelease of sorts and even has an mv and a dance practice. I don't want to spoil anything but Getting Closer was a huge surprise for Carats at the time both in terms of sound and concept.

He said that he himself recorded song,video and edited it.
And today On 26th jan its MOONBIN's birthday.
So woozi was having a song called 'What kind of future' which moonbin loved so much after listening. He even said it in one of its live.
So after moonbin death WOOZI promised us that he will released the song for moonbin

Good reaction, ty. Oh My! was not bad on 1st listen. Now it's nice. So it grew on me. Some parts i like better than others. Good vocals. This was my 3rd watch i think. =0p Seeing Vernon here I am so happy he grew and is more expressive during MVs. They remind me of BTS so much. I think the bands can be close friends. You Make My Day Album (Oh My & Holiday) and You Made My Dawn Album (Home & Getting Closer) are the two of the most cohesive Seventeen Albums. They represented the "Day" and the "Dawn" concept all throughout the entire album well respectively!
