Thanks for the video! Never heard about these paints before. Congratulations on testing new things!

Thank you, and thanks for watching. There's a few types of other paints that I'm curious to try, so there may be more testing videos in the future.

Well, you're doing better with a new paint type than I do with paint I've been using for 20 years, so I'd call that a success :-) I may give guache a try some time, but for now I think I need to learn to use what I have.

Always a good idea. Let me know if you have any questions or I can help in any way. Thanks for watching!

Thanks! You should totally give it a try. It didn't take too long to learn if you already know acrylics.

Another good video!!!!! Your technique in this one looks a lot closer to my own and I never heard of a gauche paint until now. To me this sounds like a slower drying type of paint. I’m not a fan of oils either so i understand where your concerns are there. I was wondering if an actual wash in between steps would have helped to bring out the highlights and crevasses. Either way arnold still looks pretty good.

Thanks! I don't like washes on my skin due to the staining and dirty look they leave. Glazing ot tinting some darker shades in the shadows is something I'd normally do if I had more time. I do enjoy oils, just not the mess. You'll have to give then a try sometime when you stop by.
